Chapter 3

Secret Identity.
The worst part is my head was spinning. Everything was happening too fast. As I stopped to take a breathe after running, I hear footsteps from behind, panting for air. I turn around & see Carlos.
"Hey, why did you run off?" He ask panting for air.
"I- I forgot that I have to get my schedule from the uhm office." I quickly respond back nervously.
"Y/n, the office is the back that way," he adds.
"Did this school get bigger & more confusing when I left?" I mumbled under my breath.
"What?"
"Oh nothing, Imma go now." I walk past him as our shoulders brush off each other's.
"Wait, y/n." He says turning to my direction.
"Yes,"
"Hang out at lunch?"
"Sure." I could hear him smile & chuckle under his breathe.

The guy that I just met asked me to meet his friends & now to hang out at lunch? This is weirding me out but.. maybe I can get information on Alex & that girl. Maybe they're just friends? Friends with benefits? Ugh, what am I saying? No friends put their arms around each other like that.

Finally, I get to the office. I ask for my schedule from one the office ladies. As I get my schedule & turn around towards the door, I see Alex. He was standing in front of his locker, one foot on the locker & looking down at his phone smiling. I walked out of the office & tried to my hardest to walk as fast as I can to not get Alex's attention. Then, I hear a voice behind me as I tried to walk off. It was Alex.
"Hey, aren't you Carlos's friend?" He asks trying to catch up to me.
I sigh, "I wouldn't really say friends? He never really even-." Alex cuts me off as I hear ringing coming from his phone.
"Oh sorry, I have to uhm take this." He walks off to the other direction & disappears into the distances.
I slowly walk off into confusion to my first class.

hiiiiiii ! Yes, I know this is a short chapter but I'm planning chapter 4. Imma try my best to make it juicy for y'all. Soo, keep your eyes out for tomorrow for chapter 4 & maybe chapter 5 if I have time like today.
