Secret Identity.
When we get there, I saw Devyn, Jabez, Sam, Jocelyn, Hailey & Alex. They were all with their dates. My heart sank as I saw Hailey's arms around Alex. I guess they are going together?
Dev: Hey guys, y'all look good!
D, C, Y: Thanks!
S: Wheres your date, Y/n?
Y: Uhm I-
I then feel someone's hands touch my waist. I took a deep breath, I could see Alex's eyes stare at my direction like hawk.
G: I'm her date
S: Awww cute
Hailey comes closer to our group circle.
H: I know right, so cute
She laughs under her breath & turns away to Alex. She kisses Alex on the lips & I watched him kiss her back. My face turned into a disgust, but it hurt me.
D: Should we all go inside?
G: Yeah, that's a good idea
They all make their way to the entrance, but I stayed behind.
G: Whats wrong?
Y: Nothing
G: Come on, something is up
Y: I just have a lot going on
G: Cheer up. I told you imma make this the best night of your life
Y: Promise?
G: Promise.
He sticks out his hand & I placed my hand on top of his. He then leads me to the entrance. He opens the door.
G: Ladies first
I smile & give him a nod.
Homecoming was just as I imagined, loud music, a dark room full of disco lights, people dressed all fancy & dancing around with their dates. I was hoping this will be the best night of my life.
G: Do you want anything to drink?
Y: Yeah, give me a soda
G: Alright, stay here
Y: Okay
I stayed where Gio told me to stay & I watched as all my friends dance around with their dates. I couldn't find Alex & Hailey til I saw them appear in the corner of the room, smashing their lips together the whole time. I roll my eyes & go on my phone. Then, Gio came back.
G: Theres so much people
Y: Yeah
G: You wanna dance?
Y: Ye-
Suddenly, these guys walk up to Gio.
Diego= Di
B= Brandon
Di & B: Hey Gio!
G: Hey! What's up
Di: You wanna go get drinks?
B: yeah, I heard that jock kid brang some booze
G: Haha hell yeah
Gio then looks at me for my answer.
I slowly nod my head, because I didn't want to be rude. I honestly knew this was gonna happen. He was gonna ditch me & break his promise.
G: I promise, I'll make it up to you later
Y: Yeah whatever
I roll my eyes & he leaves with his friends.
It was turning into the worse night of my life. I walk to hallway of the school to just get some quiet from the loud music. I sat down with my back against the lockers & sighed.
My tears started to water. Flashbacks of Hailey & Alex kissing appeared in my head. I really loved Alex, but I guess I have to accept that he doesn't love me back. He's with Hailey now..
I then heard footsteps coming to my direction. I turn my head to where the footsteps where coming from. A guy appeared in the distance, I took a deep breath & got up.
Y: Who's there?
There was no answer.
The guy started to walk towards me. He started to walk faster & faster.
Y: Who are you?
??: You're worst enemy
Y: Wha-
I then feel something go through my skin. My eyes began to shut slowly, I started to lose my balance. What was happening?
