Lady Urbosa was not having the best of days. Five voe had tried to infiltrate Gerudo Town in hopes of having just a glance at her, but they were incredibly stupid. The voe hadn't factored in that their odor and grooming habits would get them easily caught. "Men. Why do they try so hard to break in when our defenses are known throughout Hyrule? "Lady Urbosa- oh! I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to intrude!" A blue haired Hylian bowed her head. Her name was Ani (an-eye). She happened to be the Gerudo Chief's significant other. In more casual circumstances, Ani would've only referred to the Champion as Urbosa, but the Lady was still performing her duties as leader of the Gerudo Tribe. "Yes, my flower? What is it you wish to say?" Ani blushed at the name, but continued. "Princess Zelda will be arriving soon to speak with you about Vah Naboris. She wishes to speak about its defenses." Urbosa nodded. "Thank you, Ani. You will be staying with me when the princess arrives, will you not?" The Hylian nodded, nervous. "I do apologize but I feel the need to do something, so I'll go help prepare the banquet. The princess will be quite hungry when she arrives." "Indeed, I thank you for that. I must make sure to savor your meal when we dine. Your cooking, after all, is well known around this land." Ani simply nodded her thanks and ran off to the kitchens.

"Lady Urbosa, as you know, we're preparing the Divine Beasts for when Ganon returns. But I have a couple of concerns about Vah Naboris' defense systems. You see, I may not be correct, but I believe that, since Ganon once was a Gerudo himself, he may shed a piece of himself and turn it into his human form, and allow himself to access the Beast. I do not mean to insult your defenses, as your Guards are notorious amongst voe, I only wish to check Vah Naboris to make absolutely sure that the Divine Beast cannot be infiltrated." The Champion looked down at the meal, wiping her fingers on a napkin. "Indeed princess, and now that you bring up the topic, I see your concerns. We will go up into the beast, but I must request that Ani go with us. In the case that I am gone, I wish for her to be the next pilot." The Hylian looked at her love in shock. "You would want me to pliot the beast? It's such an honor, would you really prefer I do it?" "Of course, who else would be my pilot?" Ani could hardly form words. "I- well, there's, um-" Urbosa looked at her love, set on her choice. "Please, my dear, if I were to be destroyed then there would be no other face I would yearn to see more. Do it for my own sake." Ani looked at Urbosa, nodding. "I will do it for you, Champion."
Zelda nodded. "Then it is settled. Ani will be the one to pilot Va Naboris if Champion Urbosa fails. Thank you for your time, Lady Urbosa. I'll give my reports to the king." Urbosa nodded, standing from the table. "Come, my dear. It's time you learned how to control the Beast."
