As my alarm went off to awake me for my first day of class I got very excited. This is the day that I've waited for. I went to school for Business Administration. It took me 8 years to finish all my degrees but I did it.
It took a lot of drive for me though. I was married to this guy name Silas Gordon. Things was so bad to the point where it was taking me out of my character. We didn't have kids together so the divorce was a smooth. He's a lawyer so I didn't have to worry about splitting nothing with him.
He makes his own money and I make mine. I was glad about that. I swung my legs on the side of the bed and stretched. Standing up I walked to the bathroom to take care of my business. After that I brushed my teeth and washed my face.
I started my shower and let the water get hot. I took my clothes off and stepped in the water. I lathered my towel and took care of my hygiene. After finishing that I turned off the water and grabbed the towel to dry off.
I walked to my room and walked in my walk in closet. I walked around to see what I wanted to wear for my first day. I want to make an impression not just on my coworkers but my students.
I picked my outfit out and placed my shoes in front of it. I pressed my clothes out and laid them across my bed. I picked me out some undies and a nice bra. I laid that on top of my clothes. I grabbed my lotion and oil and lotions my body.
I put on my bra and panties. I dabbed some perfume on. I love the oil called "Mad about you." It has a soft but nice smell to it. I put on my clothes and my heels. I went and did my makeup and hair. I had a few minutes left before I wanted to leave so I grabbed a banana and a orange juice out the fridge.
I set my alarm and locked up the house. I walked to my truck and got in. Cranking the truck I put me some music on and drove to the college. I got my head in the game and drove. Pulling up to the school, I parked in my assigned parking spot that was giving to me.
I got out and grabbed my things. I walked to the door and opened it. I walked down to my class and sat my things down on the desk. I was about 15 minutes early so I sat there and ate my breakfast.
After eating I went and put my things out for class. Students start coming in. They sat down and started unpacking their things. I cleared my throat and started my day out. Well after I said my little prayer of coarse.
"Good morning class. My name is Dana Fields and I will be your professor for Business Administration for the semester. So that means for the next 3 months I want to see you all putting the best foot forward. I'm not hard to get along with. As long as you try, I will match that." I said starting class.
A student raised her hand for a question. I smiled and looked at her.
"Yes ma'am. How can I help you this morning?"
"I was wondering are we gonna be getting our supply list today?"
"Why yes ma'am I will be passing out your syllabus right now actually."
I walked around and passed out the syllabus to the students. As I read over the rules and regulations of my class and what I expected there was a knock on the door. Class was about over so I just waved for whoever it was to come on in.
Once the students cleared out I saw this guy walking towards me. It was my planning period so I had a little time before my next class.
"Hello there. How can I help you?" I said trying to see who it was coming to me.
As he got close in my eye sight I almost lost it. Here is this fine man walking toward me. I cleared my throat and said hello.
"Hey my name is Dana Fields and you are?"
"Hey I'm Gemini Jones. I'm the Physical Science Teacher. My class is right across the hall there. I know you are new and I wanted to introduce myself. I know how it is to be the newbie." He said.
I laughed at him. "Thanks cause I am truly nerve wrecked here. My class seemed to receive me well but who's to say that will last you know."
"I get that. Well I'm on your team. And if you need anything just come across the hall and holler at me. Here's my cell phone number. I love to have connections with my team. We support and help each other on Team 8."
"That's good to know."
"Well I don't want to hold you up. I just wanted to be the first to say welcome and like I said before if you need me I'm just a step away."
"Thank you. I really appreciate that."
He smiles and looked at me.
"No problem at all. Well I'm gonna head back. I got a little planning to do before my next class. And maybe we can hook up at lunch or something."
"That would be nice thank you."
"Ok well. Nice to meet you and see you later." Gemini said walking out the class.
I sat down and shook my head. That was one fine man to me. I will most definitely look into his background. After planning my class I taught the next 3 classes.
After that it was time for me to head to lunch. I walked to the lunchroom and grabbed me something to eat. I spotted Gemini so I sat at the table with him.
He introduced me to all the other teachers on our team. I can say my day was coming out to be a great day. Let's see how the rest play out.
