The drive home for my date was very quiet. I can't believe Silas showed his ass up once again. Why want he just leave me alone. I don't want him anymore but he keep trying to make my life miserable.
When we got divorced he didn't want to even sign my papers. It took longer than what I thought to even get rid of his stupid ass. He already had a girlfriend and all. But all he wanted to do was string me along.
And for what? The damage was over and done. When I finally got those divorce papers that was the happiest day of my life. Now here it is tonight. I hope this doesn't mess things up for me and Gemini.
I really like him and hope he feels the same way. And I most definitely hope that Silas didn't run him away or make him feel that this would be a problem for his to talk or even possibly date. I looked at him as he drove.
He didn't say a word. He just looked straight ahead. I was so nervous my palms and feet was sweating. I looked out the window the rest of the way home. As he pulled up he cut the car off. He looked at me.
"I'd like to come in and talk to you for a second if you don't mind."
"Sure I don't mind. I actually was gonna ask to talk to you for a second anyway."
"Ok great. Well are we gonna sit here or you gonna invite me in?"
I smiled to the fact the he actually wants to talk.
"Yes. Come on." Dana said as she opened the door.
They got out the car and headed to the door. She unlocked the door and turned the alarm off. She walked in the living area and Gemini followed behind her. They sat down and started talking.
"So tell me. What's up with you and ole boy?" Gemini started.
"That was my ex husband Silas."
"Is there more between the two of you now?"
"No it isn't. I don't know why he want just go on with his life. Trust me I don't want him. There is no feelings between me and him."
"Hmm." Gemini said with his hands to his face.
"What does that mean? Hmm?" Dana asked confused to what he was thinking.
Gemini stood up and sat next to her. Dana was getting nervous. She didn't think he would get this close to her.
He grabbed her hands and turned and faced her.
"Dana I'm not worried about Silas or whatever his name is. If you want to have a relationship with someone that's your business."
"So he didn't make you feel uneasy?"
"Absolutely not. So if you want to be my friend still I would love that."
"Friend? Like just a friend, best friend, or something more?" Dana asked nervously.
Gemini smiles and gave her a little chuckle.
"Are you trying to ask me something Hmm?" He said looking her into her eyes.
"Well I uhh well.." she fumbled over her words.
Gemini leans in and kissed her softly on the lips. She closed her eyes and took in what was happening. She couldn't believe he actually kissed her.
"Wow I didn't expect you to do that."
"I know. Sometimes you just have to take your shot." Gemini said.
Dana looked at him and smiled. Feeling the mood changing they moved in closer to each other and deepened the kiss. As they kissed they rubbed against each other.
This was making Dana heart beat really fast. She looked in his eyes as she broke the kiss.
"Gemini I don't know if you know this. But I really like you. I have always been shy to tell people things like this. But you do something to me."
"What do I do to you?"
"I'm so nervous around you. No man has ever made me feel like this before. You are such a handsome man and everything that I've always wanted in a man."
"Am I now?" He said with a smirk on his face.
"Yes you are. How do you feel about me?"
"Honestly I was nervous around you too. I haven't dated in a long time. The last girl that I dated was crazy. I had to let her go. So I just focused on me and my work. I have goals in life I want to do. But I do want kids and a wife one day."
"Really? So do I. I mean the get married part to a man. And kids." She said as they laughed at her comment.
"Wow. This is crazy. I never thought you looked at me like that."
"I do. And I hope me telling you this mess up our relationship." Dana said.
"Why you say that?" Gemini said looking her in her face.
"I don't know. I just cause I've had such bad experiences in my life and that bad marriage. I just don't want to put myself back out there and get hurt again."
"If we take this to another level I promise you I will not purposely hurt you. I am very private and reserved so you don't have to worry."
That made me feel a little better about that. I know he's a good man and I want to see what we can be together.
"Are you sure that the thing with Silas didn't make you feel some type of way?" Dana asked rubbing his hands.
"No. I'm a man. And I can take care of myself. Little boys do what he did. I ain't got time for that. He try me I'll just call the police on him."
Dana looked and him and smiled. Knowing that she had his attention made her feel like she was someone again.
"Can I ask you something?" Dana asked Gemini.
"Sure. What's up?"
"Can I kiss you again?"
"I don't know can you?"
Dana smiles and said "well may I?"
"Absolutely." Gemini said pulling her into him and kissed her.
They hit it off!!!!
