Yona, Hana, Hak and Yun finished packing up and were ready for their journey to the village of Hakuryuu. After Hana's outburst, she returned again after disappearing until the evening, looking completely calm and all-smiley and cheerful again, as if nothing happened. She helped Yun with chores and chatted with Yona, cracking jokes and laughing lightheartedly. She acted so normally to the point they thought they were all just hallucinating.
Hak was going to confront her about her strong opposition in going to Hakuryuu's village, but he changed his mind because of this. He didn't want to push her buttons. An angry Hana wasn't the most appealing sight ever. Hak knew this from the many experiences he had when he pissed him off, accidentally or intentionally— which most of them were intentionally, and he paid a prize for it, like a black eye, a broken tooth. Yes, she had a tendency to turn violent when she was angry. It was an ugly side of her that she tried to hide, especially in front of Yona. For that reason, Hana she ran away yesterday to calm herself before facing others.
Before departing, Hana gifted her hose to Ik-soo as her sign of gratitude for taking her and Yona and Hak into his hospitality, and for guiding them. Ik-soo told them it was his duty as a priest to help them. Nevertheless, he accepted her gift and promised that he'd take a good care of the horse.
They bid goodbye to each other, Yun getting teary-eyed for having to part ways with the priest who was like a father to him.
At last, they began their journey to gather all of the dragon warriors.—
After hearing the news about Soo-won being crowned as the new king of Kouka from a few villagers who lived in the village they recently stopped by, Yona had become quiet. Everyone was aware of the reason, but there was no need to mention it in front of her. Thus, they continued their journey to their destination as usual, until Yona finally spoke up.
"I need to learn swordsmanship."
"What?" Hana halted, almost tripping over a pebble as she spun around too quickly to face Yona. She towered over Yona, casting a shadow over her face. as her wide blue eyes stared into Yona's purple eyes.
"I-I want to l-learn swordsmanship," Yona stuttered, taking a step back away from Hana and clutched to Hak's blue clothing. "Hak told me he'd teach me."
Hana's sharp blue eyes pierced into Hak's. She demanded an answer from him.
"I never said that," Hak denied.
Yona made a dejected face, but she wouldn't give up so easily. "You can teach me while we travel—"
The red haired princess was interrupted by her own sister, who visibly disapproved this idea.
"No." Hana said sternly.
"No?" Yona repeated.
"Yes, no," Hana emphasized the 'no', shaking her head. "Father wouldn't ever let you handle a weapon."
"He didn't let you, too, but that didn't stop you," Yona pointed out, "how am I different from you when you decided to learn how to fight years ago? Why can you do it but I can't?" Yona shot at Hana. The atmosphere suddenly became heavy in a blink of an eye after Yona began to question her own sister.
