"What the— why is it suddenly raining?" Hana screamed in exasperation as she felt rain pour upon her with no warning beforehand. She looked up at the sky. The recently bright sky was now covered with black and dark clouds. "Where did you even come from?!" She pointed at the clouds. She swore the sky was clear a minute ago, but now it was all gloomy.

What am I doing, yelling at the clouds? I'm so stupid, she groaned. Hana navigated her horse towards a tree to take shelter.

Which was pointless.

The rain carried along a strong wind, blowing the leaves and raindrops into her face. She got off her horse and sat down on the ground, her back leaning against the tree. "I didn't even sing anything today and it still rains," she snorted.

One of the challenges that she had to constantly face while she was on this adventure was the weather; it was unpredictable. Sometimes, even when there was a sign of an upcoming rain or storm, she couldn't benefit much from the information if she was traveling through an isolated area where there was no residency. It was not like an inn would miraculously appear in the midst of nowhere, so Hana had to endure the storms and rains until they're over. She was used to this kind of situation, so now, it didn't make any difference. She just had to wait until the rain stopped before she could continue her journey.

It didn't stop anytime soon.

Hana slumped against the tree, soaking wet, asleep. Yes, she fell asleep approximately ten minutes after the rain began. One of her most notable gifts was that she could fall asleep anytime, anywhere in whatever situation if she wanted to. It sounded dumb, but she embraced this gift with her whole heart. Though, it wasn't always true, as there were nights that went sleepless for her.

By the time she woke up, the rain was still pouring. Hana brushed the strand of orange hair sticking in her eyes. It was almost an hour, but the rain hadn't stopped. This wasn't good. She couldn't stay here forever. Thus, Hana stood up and stretched her arms over her head before resuming her adventure in the rain with her horse.

Dusk came, and the cold finally got to her. She was shivering, bones rattling and teeth chattering. She wrapped her arms around her body, but it did nothing to ease the chill. It was impossible to start a fire under the rain.

"I'm p-probab-l-ly g-gonna die like t-this," she stuttered as the result of the cold that had taken a toll on her body.

From a distance, she saw a dim light coming from what seemed to be a small house. Hana's eyes lit at the sight.

"M-Maybe n-not," she mumbled to herself.

Hana walked towards the house hastily, her feet sinking into the mud and splashing it to her clothes. She couldn't care less about it; all she cared about now was a shelter, a real shelter that would protect her from the rain.

Hana spied into the house through the window, carefully so her presence remained concealed in the darkness of the night. Inside, an elderly man sat by a hearth alone, writing in a book placed on his lap. He looked like he was around Grandpa Mundok's age, if not a bit older. What surprised her the most was the hair; he had a short white hair. Not gray hair of old age, but plain white, like snow. It was the first time she saw anyone with that color of hair. Even his stubble was white.
