I've made a decision not to say when I'm updating certain stories bc I said that this story and Years Apart would be updated last night. I had most of the last chapter written and some of Years Apart. I feel like when I say "Oh, this'll be up tonight" then I feel like I HAVE to get it done and then I get major writers block. Plus, some shit's going down in my life right now, so I can't always write when I want. I still will update frequently, but I just won't be promising when anymore bc I feel like it just makes me look bad if I keep saying something will be out at a certain time and then I haven't finished.

Anyways, here's the chapter. I hope you guys enjoy! Little bit of a shorter chapter, it's just a continuation of last chapter.
Sang's P.O.V.

My hands shake as I aim at the target for the first time since I've been here.

Raven taught me the mechanics of how the gun works and how to put it together.

I have never touched a gun before this and now I am nervous.

Raven, sensing how tense I am, walks in front of me and lowers my arms. "This won't go well if you're thinking too much about it. Just relax and try not to think about it," he runs his hands up and down my arms, trying to soothe my fears. The simple touch makes me shiver slightly, making him grin.

I nod, trying to clear my mind. Once I think I'm ready I sign that I'm ready.

He looks confused and I grab the pen and notebook writing, "Sorry, force of habit. I'm ready."

He looks lost in thought before nodding and stepping away. I adjust the ear muffs that are placed over my ears and the glasses I have on as I take a deep breath.

I try to adjust my stance like Raven taught me and raise my arms, aiming at the target.

I pull the trigger and completely miss. I huff, not being able to voice my disappointment.

Raven laughs, "It's okay, it's your first time. Here, let me help." He walks behind me and wraps his arms around so he can adjust the grip I have on my gun. "Just hold it like this and move this leg," he taps the back of my left leg, "Back just a little bit."

I do as he says and he steps away, giving me a smile of encouragement. I make sure to stand like he told me and aim for the target once again. This time, when I pull the trigger, it hits the side of the round target.

I try multiple times while Raven gives me words of encouragement and advice. Then, I hit the target right in the center.

I hold my arms up victoriously, grinning wildly. Suddenly I'm picked up and spun around, "Good job, malen'kiy kotenok!" He sets me down and my body is filled with adrenaline.

I shoot the target a few more times, hitting the center or very close to the center. It's a powerful feeling and I actually enjoy it.

As we finish everything up Raven says, "I think I should get you one."

I take a second to digest that before I start writing, Absolutely not.

"Why not? You should be able to protect yourself," he says.

I quickly write, And you think I need to kill someone to protect myself?

He shrugs, "Maybe. Better them then you."

Than, I write out.

He shrugs again, "Da, same."

Not even close. But I decide to focus on the gun scenario instead.

I appreciate the thought Raven, but I don't want or need a gun.

He pouts. He actually pouts at the fact that I don't want a gun. Then his face lights up and he says, "How about a stun gun?"

     Raven, no weapons.

The grin on his face widens and he turns while saying, "I'm getting you a stun gun."

I chase after him after making sure I have my stuff.

Before I can stop him, he is talking to the owner of the range. Unlucky news for me, they sell certain weapons here, including stun guns.

Before I know it, Raven is showing  me how to use the pink stun gun he just got for me.

Where am I supposed to keep this? It's not like I can stick this in my bra like my phone, because one wrong move and I'll be in a world of pain.

When Raven and I get back to the car, he opens the door before he looks like he has yet another idea.

"Have you ever driven?" He asks me.

I shake my head, wondering where he is going with this.

"Well, time to teach you something else," he gets in the passenger seat and hands me the keys.

    I stare at him, dumbfounded.

"Don't worry, I'll turn you into excellent driver," he tells me sounding completely confident.

I slowly walk over to the driver's side of the large vehicle, scared out of my mind.

I get in and my feet don't even come close to the pedals, making Raven burst into laughter.

He helps me get my seat situated and tells me to drive. I pull slowly out of the parking space we are in, Raven instructing me each step of the way.

When I'm about to turn out of the parking lot, I get nervous.

"Hey, you just shot a gun. Driving will come easy. Just make sure to listen to what I tell you, not the signs and you'll be fine."

I try to clear my head like I did when I was shooting the gun. I take the right turn out of there when there are no cars coming and start the drive back to my house.

Raven instructs me the whole way, especially to go faster.

He praises me when I get to a speed he likes, which was evidently twenty over the speed limit. He tells me the speed limits are just suggestions and not to pay attention to them.

Nobody has ever taught me about driving, so I do as he says, trusting him.

At one point, he instructs me to go through a red light because nobody is coming. I reluctantly listen to that one.

Once we are over halfway done with the drive, I almost hit a guy on a motorcycle and I swerve back into my rightful place on the road.

Raven laughs so hard that he is doubled over and says, "You almost hit East!"

I'm not sure who East is, but I can't exactly ask him about it, so I continue driving.

Finally, we reach the spot I met him at earlier today.

His face is full of pride, "You did amazing! Little slow at first, but you were great once you got going."

I smile and write thank you. I get out of the car and so did he. I walk over to him and he hugs me, making sure I have the stun gun before telling me he will see me later and made promise to check in with everyone.

I start the walk home and once I get there, I slowly sneak my way back in. I hide the stun gun and throw myself onto my bed, not being able to stop the smile from reaching my face.

Despite the bad start, today was a good day.
