"Do you wanna come back to mine?" Hoseok offered, smiling as they left the coffee shop.A flame of panic kindled in the pit of Yoongi's stomach, feeling nervous at the thought of going somewhere he hadn't been before, especially to someone's house.
"We don't have to," Hoseok breathed, noticing Yoongi's panicked expression.
"C-can we?" Yoongi whispered, surprising himself.
"Of course, love." He smiled, tugging Yoongi close, an arm around his thin shoulders.
They walked down the road together, feet walking in time with each other.
"Hoseok." Yoongi began,
"Hmm?"
"Can I hold your hand, please?"
Hoseok's cheeks could've torn out how big he was smiling- he couldn't get over how heartbreakingly cute Yoongi was.
"Yeah." he giggled, interlocking their fingers gently, not applying any pressure so as to make Yoongi feel calm and safe."So, what are your parents like?" Yoongi asked, a gentle smile tracing the edges of his question.
"They're pretty cool," Hoseok laughed, "my mum's gonna love you, I can already tell."
"How?"
"I think she's gonna find you almost as cute as I do." Hoseok grinned, causing Yoongi to giggle.
"Hi mum!" Hoseok yelled into the house as they walked in, letting go of each other's hands as they took their shoes off.
"Hobi!" Hoseok's mum exclaimed, holding his head with both hands and leaving a peck on his forehead.
Hoseok laughed, embarrassed, and proceeded to rub his forehead where his mum had left a crimson lipstick mark.
"Who's this cutie pie?" she smiled, gesturing to Yoongi.
"This is Yoongi, mum.""Hi," Yoongi breathed; although he was nervous- Hoseok's mother had a comforting energy that put him right at ease.
"Make yourself at home, I'll get you two something to drink."
"Thanks mum."
"Thank you," Yoongi smiled, following after Hoseok into what he assumed was their living room.
As Hoseok sat on the couch, Yoongi sat himself right next to him, his head on Hoseok's shoulder."I just got water since I-" Hoseok's mother stopped in her tracks, giggling,"you guys are so cute," she laughed, "are you going to the dance together?"
Yoongi could practically see the light bulb appear above Hoseok's head as his eyes lit up with an idea.
"Oh my god, we so should!" he grinned.
Yoongi's smile faded around the corners, "I just can't go to parties, the lights and the sounds are too much for me."
Hoseok's mood dampened; disappointed, and looked out of ideas for a moment- before he parted his lips to propose an idea.
"What if we made our own little dance without all the people or the lights?"
Yoongi's small lips curved into a smile, and he began to giggle with excitement. "We should definitely do that." He beamed.Hoseok's mum had the biggest smile plastered across her face, "I'll be happy to make food for you two boys." she said on her way out, leaving them space.
"Thank you, Mrs. Jung." Yoongi said, making sure she still heard it as she walked further out of earshot.
"I'm excited now." Hoseok beamed, as they were left alone together.
"Me too."
"Let's plan it." he smiled.
