Above everything,
I like taking pictures of the
clouds,
flowers,
and the sea
I think
It's because everything else
Changes far too quickly,
Birds and bugs
Can leave in a blink of an eye,
People become memories,
And can leave you behind,

But the clouds?
The clouds change with the weather,
They are as unpredictable as the minds of a toddler,
They are large and soft beings,
Halls and cathedrals in the sky,
Angle's pillows and God's palace,
A source of fairytales and fables,
Home to dragons and unicorns.
Holders of the sun's colours.

But the flowers?
The flowers change slowly with the seasons,
A provider of colour,
In the large concrete cities,
Finding life in the most unlikely of places,
And making small balconies home,
And large gardens hidden hideaways,
Flowers:
The largest part of my life,
Which i have yet to successfully grow,
They twirl around castles and twist through cottages,
They swim through a sea of grass,
And swirl around to create crowns,
They are the source of happiness and meaning,
They help love grow.

But the sea?
The sea changes with the tide,
Waves of warmth and home,
Gentle laps and nibbles at toes,
Encouraging but hesitant,
Waves of anger and wrath,
Heavy swarms of water,
Ready to take all who face it,
Buildings and people and homes and boats all lay wasted,
When the force of the ocean is released,
But the sea holds foaming lace and velvet current,
Bursts of colour before dropping into the dark,
Coral and fish and seaweed,
Life,
A breath of life in the endless world,
Home and love and all i could wish for,
hugs and salt filled kisses.

We all wish for a bit of love,
Do we not?
