Jamila's P.O.V.

After August and I made up he left about 20 minutes later . It's the next day and I was getting ready to go over his house . No, my grandparents do not know we're together that's why I told them I'd be at Regina's house . It's not really my grandma thought it's my grandpa . He's a total trip . He doesn't like August for no reason but I know he'll warm up to him just like I did . I grabbed my phone and bag and made my way downstairs.

" Okay I'm gone . " I told my grandparents as they sat in the living room .

" Oh Mila wait . " my grandma said stopping me before I opened the door .

I turned around and gave her a smile .

" Yea Nana ? " I questioned.

" So you know everyone's going to be here for Christmas and I just want to make sure you're really okay with that . I know you never really had the best relationship with you aunties and uncles . You dad didn't either they're kind of a hand full . " she said and I nodded in agreement.

" I know . But I'll be fine Nana as long as you and Papa are here I'll be fine . I'll probably just lock myself inside my room until dinner is ready anyway ." I joked and she smiled at me .

" Okay But when you come back I have to ask you something . " she said and I scrunched up my face .

" What is it Nana ? " I questioned and she waved me off .

" Child don't worry about it it can wait . Now you better go . And tell August I said hi . " she said and my eyes widened .

" Nana I— "

" Jamila please save it . I was 17 once too I'm not dumb . But your Papa on the other hand. " she trailed off and I laughed .

" Okay love you nana . " I said giving her a hug and a kiss on the cheek before leaving out .

I walked out and seen August's car parked in front of the house next door . I got tired of walking all the way down the street . If my Papa caught me oh well . I walked up to his car and seen August texting someone . I opened the door and got in throwing my bag on the floor.

" Hey ma baby . " August said putting his phone down and giving a kiss on the cheek .

I smiled and grabbed his face giving him a kiss on the lips .

" Nana says hey . " I told him letting go of his face as he started the car and chuckled .

" That's why I fucks wit Nana . " he said pulling off and I laughed .

" So what we doin today ? " he asked and I shrugged .

" We can just chill but tomorrow everyone is going to this carnival thing tomorrow. We should go it's going to be so much fun since everyone is outta school for break . " I told him and he nodded .

" That's coo wit me . You hungry ? " he asked and I nodded .

" I really want some Chinese food . " I told him .

" Bet . I gotchu . "

Me and August were on the couch watching a movie called Gone Girl . Its actually a pretty good movie . We'd just got done eating about a hour ago so now we were just chilling . We were in a comfortable silence as August laid on my stomach while I laid down and played in his hair . He so clingy and I love it . He uses me like his little teddy bear and it was cute . I wasn't even really shy around him no more . Right now I had one of his shirts and a pair of his boxers . His clothes were just so big and comfortable on me .
