Jamila and August walked into the living room hand in hand and watched Jenna associate with the rest of the family as she told them August was there . August cling to Jamila like his life depended on it . He felt so out of place and Jamila wanted so badly to help him feel at home again . August was just ready to leave and not come back .

" Yo is that my boy August . " a deep male voice said from behind them .

They turned around to a tall , bald and buff man walking towards them .

" Uncle Derrick . " August said before dapping him up .

" Wassup man . How you been ? We ain't seen you in a minute man . " His uncle said .

" Yea I know man . " August said . Jamila just stood there and let them talk . She was just glad he let her go because he was squeezing the life out of her hand .

" And who is this ? " his Uncle asked acknowledging that Jamila was there .

" This is my girlfriend Jamila . " August said introducing her .

" Hey . " Jamila waved .

" Hello sweetheart. It's nice to meet you . I would say August has told us a lot about you but it seem like this lil nigga don't know how to pick up the phone and call . " his Uncle told her .

All three of them fell into conversation just catching up and Derrick getting to know Jamila a little . Jamila could see that August was starting to become comfortable and she was glad . She knew it wasn't going to be that bad .

" OH MY GOD IS THAT AUGY ! " someone yelled in the doorway of the living room.

They all looked and it was a girl that looked like she was at least a year older then them and looked like a prettier version of August's uncle . Except she had to be the same height or shorter then Jamila and was holding a baby .

" Ohh shit that can't be Junbug . " August said with a hug smile .

She walked up to him and gave him a hug .

" Nigga where the hell you been ?! You just forgot to call huh ? " She said punching him in the arm .

" Yea Yea I already got that from ya pops . " he told her and she rolled her eyes with a smirk .

" He talked your ear off ? " she asked and August nodded .

" Aye August come with me to see your other uncle they been asking about you . " Derrick role him .
