Jacob followed behind Cole as he led him to his room. He felt his wolf scratch at his chest, wanting to touch and be close to his mate. He tried his best to shove that urge down. He tried his best to stay a couple steeps away from Cole. Cole was walking pretty fast, almost like he didn't want people to see him.
When Cole knew he was out of Nico's range of sight, smell, and hearing, he slowed down. He didn't want Nico asking a bunch of questions about Jacob, his wolf didn't like it. He slowed down enough where he could stand next to Jacob. His wolf relaxed some when he was near his mate.
They walked back into the pack house and back up the stairs. Cole led Jacob to a room at the end of their office hallway. "This is our pack visitor room, and where you'll be staying. To the right is my room and office and the left is Nicos side," Cole points at all the doors. "I'm going to get my bag from the car," he tells Cole. Cole watches as Jacob walks out of the hallway and down the stairs. Hw wanted to give him space, but at the same time he wanted to get to know him.
He waited by the stairs for a little, but he decided he needed to get some work done. He slowly made his way to his office, keeping an eye out for Jacobs scent.
Jacob had jogged out the door and to his truck as soon as he was down the stairs. He threw the door open, for a second he thought it was going to fly off. He sat in the drivers seat, just sitting. He felt his phone buzz in his pocket, someone was calling him, but he didn't bother to check it. At least not yet.
Seconds passed, then minutes, followed by hours. Jacob just sat in the car thinking. At this point the sun had started to set. "I need to go inside," he mumbled out to himself. The silence had gotten to him. He pulled himself out of his truck, his feet his the rocky ground. He slammed the door shut, the sound echoes around the almost empty area. He walks a few steeps back and opens the back door. He grabbed the duffle bag he packed and started towards the pack house.
He tries to walk up the stairs as quietly up the stairs as he could. Luckily he was a werewolf so he was almost deadly silent. He opened the door to the spare room Coal gave him. He threw his bag on the floor, not caring were it landed. He striped out oof his shirt and shorts, falling onto the bed in his boxers.
Jacob closed his eyes and tried to fall asleep. Almost a hour passed and he was still laying down on the bed, wide awake. He couldn't sleep. He was beyond tired but his body, or wolf, refused to let him sleep.
Jacob rolled off the bed with a groan. He paced around the room. His wolf whined at him. Jacob walked out into the hallway and stoped in front of Coles door. He raised his hand to knock, but decided against it and just opened the door. The room was dark with the exception of the light shining through the window.
Jacob walked over to the bed Cole was sleeping on. His bare feet silent on the cold, wood floor. He stoped at the side of the bed, debating if he should just leave and go back to his room. Coles eyes fluttered open, eyes fixed on the figure in front of him. "I-I'm sorry, I couldn't sleep so I came in here," Jacob says, not looking at Coal.
Cole looked at Jacob, then at the bed. He rolled over to make some space on the bed and closed his eyes again. Jacob laid down on the bed next to Cole. He turned towards the window, his eyes already closing. He felt Coles arm wrap around him, His eyes fluttered closed and sleep overcame him.
~~~
Cole woke up to a bright light shining in his eyes. He felt a weight on his shoulder and looked down, he saw strands of black hair covering his shoulder. The boy on his shoulder snuggles into him. He was confused at first until he remembers that Jacob came into his room last night.
He keeps still, afraid he might wake up Jacob. He watched Jacobs chest rise and fall with every breath. He reached over and brushed Jacobs hair over his face. Jacobs made noise of disapproval and buried his face into Coles cheat. He runs his hand through his hair and down his back. He kept his touch light. Jacob shifted under his touch. He threw one of his arms over Coles waist, like he was afraid Cole wad going to leave.
Cole hears a knock on the door and after a few seconds it opens. Nico walked into the room and closed the door behind him. Nicos eyes focused on Jacob, who was still curled up next to Cole. "Is he. . ." Nico trailed off. "Yeah," Cole says looking down at Jacob, "he's my mate."
"Well, the head Warrior wolf needs to talk to you. He said it's urgent." Cole nods his head, and Nico leaves the room. Cole slowly gets up from the bed. Jacobs hand reaches out to grasp his arm. Cole gets completely off the bed, once his feet his the ground Jacobs eyes open.
Cole watches as Jacob looks around the room, wondering where he was. Jacob saw Cole and came to the realization that he was in Coles room. Cole started getting dressed to go meet Atlas, the head Warrior wolf. "Where are you going?" Jacob asked him. Jacob sat up in the bed, causing the cover to fall into his lap.
Cole yanked his shirt over his head and turned around to answer Jacob. His mouth went dry at the sight in front of him. Jacob was siting on his bed with messy hair, and blanket barley covering his waist. Coles eyes were fixed on Jacobs chest. Jacob cleared his throat and Coles eyes snapped up to Jacobs face.
"I'm meeting with Atlas, my head Warrior wolf. He said we needed to talk about something. Do you want to come?" Jacob nodded at him and got up off the bed. The blanket pooling at his feet. He left Coles room to go get dressed. He walked into his room and closed the door. He didn't bother with a shower and just grabbed his bag full of clothes.
He grabbed a pair of black jeans and a red tank top. He grabbed his shoes and slipped them onto his feet. He dug his bracelet out of his bag and slipped it on his wrist. He walked out into the hallway and waited for Cole to come out of his room. Jacob chewed on the corner of his phone case while waiting. While waiting he saw Nico come out of his room and jog down the stairs, flashing Jacob a small smile. Cole walked out of his room, "lets go."
This is the next chapter, sadly I'll be going back to school soon and I might not update as often but I will still put chapters out. Hope y'all enjoyed the chapter, leave ya feedback in the comments. This is the bracelet Jacob was wearing.
