Chapter 10~

      Cole watches as Jacob scrambles out of the truck. After he kissed the smaller wolf he had got quite flustered and rushed back up the room Cole was letting him stay in. Cole smiles at how Jacob was opening up to him, though. But he knew the wolf was hesitant about their relationship. But even Cole had some worries about their relationship, so it was pretty understandable for Jacob to fell that way. Cole just wishes Jacob would try to open up to him more. But he didn't want to rush Jacob into anything or make him feel uncomfortable. The only real concern he had was that Jacob would reject him, he and his wolf whine at the thought.

Cole finally made his way out of Jacobs truck and into his own house room. His bag was dropped by the door as he made his way towards his bed. He buries his head into his pillow. It still smelled like Jacob from the the younger wolf spent the night in his room. Cole let a small growl fall out of his mouth, he and his wolf were content and happy. Cole starts to think about how to get colder to Jacob. If he was still in Jacobs pack he could of just asked his Beta. But he wasn't that lucky.

      Coles mind drifted to some of the things Jacob did. He loves how his mate would tap some kind of tune with his fingers while he worked. He likes how Jacob turns his music up loud when he drives and sings along. He always thought the expressions Jacob made while he was frustrated or even happy were beautiful. Cole also liked that Jacob was still shorter then him. Most Alphas were around the same height, but Jacob was a couple inches shorter then him. He was also lucky that Jacob wasn't much younger then him. Jacob was 20, while he was slightly young to become a Alpha, he was a good Alpha. Cole, though, had turned 22 a couple days before Jacob had came to his pack. The Moon Goddess has really made him lucky.

      Cole was starting to fully realize that he was in love with Jacob. He hopes that the other wolf would start to come to the same conclusion. Cole smiles to him self, he is beyond glad that Jacob is in his life. He realizes that he needs to find out more about his mate, though.

Cole rushes out of his room and down the hall. He had one destination in mind and that was his Betas room. He needed Niko to watch over the pack while he took Jacob out somewhere tonight. He had already a started planing it while he ran to Nikos.

Cole knocks on the door to Nikos room. He had more manners then Jacob who would often barge into Ash's and Tyler's rooms unannounced. Niko appeared at the door as it opens.

"What the hell do you want," Niko slurs out, clearly just waking up.

Cole rolls his eyes at his Beta. "I need you to take care of the pack for a few hours tonight."

Niko didn't really look all that surprised at Coles command. He was used to Cole leaving for a few hours everyday to attend meetings with the Elders or even other packs; he didn't really question it much when Cole told him to watch the pack. And because Niko didn't ask why, he didn't tell him. It wasn't like he was keeping it a secret, but he also didn't want Nico's loud mouth telling everyone. He still hadn't officially announced to everyone that Jacob was his mate.

      That was the next steep in his plan, tell the pack about Jacob. Once he made Jacob realize he was perfectly fine with their relationship, the pack would also know about it. But only once Jacob was ok, he didn't want to pressure the younger wolf into anything.

But he wasn't going to worry about that yet, because right now he had to get everything ready for his mate. He wanted everything to be perfect. . . Just like his mate.

So, this is the next chapter. Sorry its a little shorter then the others. I'm mostly using this as a filler chapter. And I decided to do a chapter in Cole's POV for this one. Let me know who's POV you want the next chapter in. And also I wanted to say thank you for 15k reads, I didn't think this book would get this far.
