Jacob perked up at the sound of a door slamming. He's been laying in bed waiting for Cole to wake up. Jacob wasn't the type of person who would make others wake up unless it was important. He'd spent many nights awake trying to take care if the pack and knew how important sleep was.

He watches as Cole begins to wake up. He places his phone on his lap, not bothering to turn it off. "Good morning," Cole slurs out. Jacobs runs a hand through his hair. "Morning." Cole stands and lets the blankets pool at his feat. He raises his arms above his head, stretching sand letting his back pop.

Jacob picks his phone back up, not bothering to watch what Cole is doing. "Are we going to go back to your pack?" Jacob asks. Cole looks over at him and waits for Jacobs to look up. He was too focused on running his hands through his blanket though. Cole smile to himself at how cute his mate was before he went back to getting to getting ready.

"Are you fine with going back to my pack?" Cole decides to ask. Jacob looked up from his phone but the blanket still moved in his hands, "I think Asher and Ty can handle things for a few days." A small smile covered Jacobs face and he couldn't figure out why.

Cole looked back over at his mate that had now gotten up from the bed. Jacob threw off the shirt he slept in and quickly replaced it with another. Cole had already finished getting ready and was now just waiting on Jacob. Cole wasn't one for silence s0 he tried to find something to talk about.

"Are you ready to go?" Cole asked Jacob.

Jacob nodded his head in answer, "let me go talk to Ash then I'll be ready to go."

Jacob made his way out of his room, leaving Cole behind to do whatever he wanted. It would only take him a few minutes anyways. He just needed to tell Ash he was leaving and to watch over the pack. But the second was a given anyways, Ash knew Jacob would hang him by his tail if he let anything happen to his pack.

Jacob made his way over to Ash's house. He naturally just walked into the house like he owned the place, which he did in a way, and wasn't all surprised when Ty was passed out on the couch. Ash walked out of his kitchen, eyes flashing yellow. He wanted to know who walked into his house, but wasn't all surprised when he saw his Alpha.

Jacob spoke in a quiet voice, "Ash watch the pack, I'm gonna be gone for a few days."

Ash nods his head and walks over to his mate. The happiness in his eyes was easily noticed by Jacob and he was glad for his best friend. Jacob wished he could be happy with his own mate, but he didn't know how it would work with them both being Alpha's.Jacob walked back out of the house and slowly walks back to his room.

He spends his time thinking and planing how to act around Cole. He thought about how he should just act himself, but he didn't know if Cole would like him. He walks back into his room and watch's as Cole grabs both of their bags. A hint of annoyance ran through but he quickly pushed it away.

Cole brought their bags down to Jacobs truck and they both got in. The bags were placed on the floor in the backseat. Cole sat in the passengers seat while Jacob was in the drivers. Jacob starts the truck and it only took him seconds before he was driving down the gravel path. They could both hear the gravel under the tires and Jacob thought about putting having an actual road down.

While Jacobs eyes were on the road, he reached one of his hands over and started playing with the radio. Too lazy to connect it to his phone, he quickly flips through the stations. A small smile was brought to Cole's face as he watched his mate approve of some songs and quickly changed others. When he finally found a song he liked he turned the volume up, the sound echoing through the truck.

Cole flinched at the loud sound while Jacob wasn't effected. His ears soon adjusted and he moved to look out the window. His pack wasn't that far from Jacobs and with him pushing the speed limit, it made it even shorter. So it didn't take long before they were pulling up to his pack gates.

The guards up front quickly opened the gates for the two Alphas and let them in. Jacob followed the path to where he previously parked his truck. He turned down the music before he turned off his truck. Before he stepped out, though, Cole leaned over and drags his mate into a kiss. A look of surprise crossed over Jacobs face before he hesitantly kisses Cole back.

When Cole pulls back, he saw the pink tint  covering Jacobs cheeks. A small smirk made its way onto Cole's face. Jacob scrambles to get out of the truck and grabs both their bags. Cole quickly follows behind him, leading Jacob into the pack house.

So, um, I'm sorry about how long it took me to write this chapter. I just haven't had any motivation to write nor any ideas about where to go with this story. Idk I've just been having problems at school and yeah... Anyways, I hope you like the chapter and I'll try to have the next one out soon.
