The boisterous basketball player... (an intro to Harry)
Strong thuds of transparent liquid cascaded down the sturdy glass of the window, glistening in the limited light from the hidden sun. It was a gloomy day in London black clouds scattering the sky with frequent rain descending from them. Another storm, of course, this was a regular occurrence in the capital: rain, wind, thunder, lightening all of it.
CLAP! The booming thunder sounded causing the curly haired lad's eyes to shoot open uncovering the emeralds underneath and jolting his body forward taking a deep heavy breath trying to regain a normal breathing pattern. He had woken up in a storm again this was just Harry's luck, it wasn't that he hated storms, he actually quite liked them, it was just that he liked sleep a lot more so the storm was an inconvenience to him.
As his eyes drifted to his alarm clock it read 5:30am he grunted and flopped his body back onto the bed his head laying against the soft white pillow. Harry had to get up he had training to do but the storm was only making him want to go straight back to bed.
Harry lived in London with his mum Anne who is the most supportive woman you will ever meet and his sister Gemma. Harry and Gemma are as close as siblings come really, they told each other everything since they were little and have always had the strongest brother-sister bond. He is around 6'2 (yes a tree) and has deep green eyes that could easily be mistaken for emeralds.
On the surface Harry seems like your typical ill-mannered disrespectful jock always either being loud or having an unintentional scowl on his face. Intimidating is what most people would call him as his well built quite muscular figure causes preconceptions of his personality. Some act like he towers over people forming dark shadows behind him like he is some sort of fairytale villain but on the inside Harry really is just a misunderstood sweetheart.
His sometimes blunt face deprives people of the small crevices and concave indents in his cheeks when he smiles. His dimples. Harry really was sweet he had a heart of gold and wouldn't hurt a fly his friends knew this. They got to see the real him the cheeky, noisy, energetic Harry. Who he really was.
So Harry got up, reluctantly at first but he was training today and he loved basketball. He loved being able to play it and transport himself into a whole different world where nothing mattered except the game. Nothing else mattered as long as he was playing, so that's what he did.
He threw his jersey over his head, jumped into some shorts and bounced downstairs his long curls swaying behind him after each step. Avocados on toast, granola, an apple and a cup of tea was Harry's breakfast. He had to eat healthy for basketball but eating healthy wasn't too bad in his opinion he liked the food he ate and that was what mattered.
After he finished his morning routine consisting of showering, brushing his teeth, smothering himself in cologne and tying his silky smooth hair into a sleek bun he left the house shouting a goodbye to his mum and sister ignoring the fact that they were fast asleep submerged in dreams and couldn't hear a thing.
