"my baby!" trinity could barely jump, her limbs heavy from from setting up decorations all day. yet she managed to hop into diamond's arms, not even caring about the bump in her belly.
"aye! easy with my child," brandon smiled, watching the reunion. it was the day of the gender reveal slash baby shower and he took the time to pick up diamond before everything was starting.
"shut up," trinity snapped. she got down, diamond's hands going to rub at her stomach already.
"hello baby! i really hope your a boy," she basically pleaded. no one knew the gender besides kehlani. yes! the singer. trinity and edwin had went over to her place to play with adeya and get some tips. that's when trinity decided to invite her as well as see what gender the baby was.
diamond had greeted everyone at this point. she still had that vibe with austin which wasn't a shock. zion wasn't tripping so everybody was good and trinity was happy.
"we have guest comin'!"
"holy shit i'm nervous," trinity held one hand over her heart and the other over her belly. a lot of social media influencers as well as family had showed up, congratulating her. it was overwhelming, but none the less trinity was thankful.
"trinity?" brandon knocked on the door. "it's almost time to do the reveal. are you good?"
trinity just unlocked the door, pulling him inside and closed the door. she quickly latched herself in his arms, shutting her eyes tightly in hopes to make the fuzzy feelings go away.
"i don't know if i'm ready," she sqeaked.
brandon smiled, "ready for what? all we have to do is find out the gender. if your scared everything is going to go down hill, you literally don't have to worry. i'm right here," his words calmed her down.
"it's just weird," she turned to look in the mirror, dabbing at her makeup. "i never expected to have this much support," even though they were mostly there for brandon, several influencers has dm'd her and talked on different occasions.
"well it's time. everyone is waiting out back," his hand went to her waist.
so she put on a smile and mentally told her self she was okay. "i'm ready," she grabbed his hand, leading their way out of the bathroom and to the backyard where everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.
everything was white from the dress code to the decorations.
before trinity could even relax, kehlani had walked up with baby adeya in her hands. edwin and nick were right behind her with the white poppers. "you ready to see what gender this baby is?" kehlani teased.
"i'm scared, but i'm more than ready," she chuckled.
trinity had already planned who was going to do what. there were two giant poppers stuffed with the colored powder of the gender. those were for her and brandon. then there were four smaller ones, the rest of the boys getting one each to help.
diamond had the role of throwing large silver flakes for the slow motion video the photographer was going to take. kehlani had went out of the way with that, but she insisted and so trinity agreed.
so trinity and the boys took place on the deck, all the people gathered around in a half circle, smiles on their faces and even a couple anxious looks.
"first of all i want to thank you guys for coming out here to celebrate another form of life," her hand went to her belly. "i never in my life wanted to be a mom because i come from new york where my mother raised me kind of on her own,"
"meeting brandon, everything moved quick, but i felt good about it. he makes me really happy and he is just a great person and just by him telling me that i may not be a perfect mom but i'll be perfect for our child, it gives me motivation," the crowd awe'd.
"also to the boys," she looked at each of them. "zion i know you don't like to be a bitch sometimes but you really do show emotions with me and i really appropriate you for being there. edwin, thank you for being so goofy and caring. you light up my mood a whole lot and i just wanna thank you for that,"
"nick. you already know your my lil boo'," she smirked at the joke. "we bond over italian and other shit. we probably have the most inside jokes because we're weird like that," a couple people laughed. "austin. we don't really speak as much and i guess i can let everyone know now that i gave austin the choice of naming our baby because i have a feeling that our baby will be attached to him. i know we're different, but your stuck with me forever," she sent him a playful wink.
"and can i just add that me and trinity fell off over me being an idiot. and we're slowly working on things. i remember back in new york my best friend had asked me what i liked about trinity and i just melted,"
"not only is she a beautiful person, but she is caring of others. she can be mean as shit, but i know it's out of love," he grabbed her hands "you are going to be an amazing mother no matter who says what. they don't know you like we know you," he said.
"they don't know you like i know you," and from the look in his eyes, trinity could tell he desperately wanted to kiss her, so she placed a long peck to his lips, buttferlies errpupting in her stomach.
