~~Connor's pov

Jesus that hurt, I reached up to my nose and felt blood. I could hear Cora shouting in Russian. Once my vision was back to normal, i could see that the bar was filled with chaos. Murphy was drinking shots and throwing punches, as usual, I chuckled. I scanned the room for Cora. She was at the far corner beating up the Russian that decked me. Damn, she was a good fighter. As I started to get up, the Russian grabbed a fist of Cora's hair and drove her into the bar stool.

~~ Cora

"Ughh" I moaned. My whole face burned. I tried to open my eyes and my vision was blurry. "Hey Cor."

"Connor?" "Yea, how are you feeling?" "like i got ran over by a train." I could hear him chuckle next to me on the bed. "You think you can get up for some breakfast?" He looked concerned as he gently pulled strands of hair away from my face. I smiled, "thank you for looking out for me."
"Do you wanna come eat some breakfast?" "sure, let me get dressed."

At the table Connor and Murphy were arguing about the next hit tonight. Connor smiled at me as I sat down next to him. Butterflies fluttered in my stomach. I wasn't really familiar with this feeling, since I haven't really had a crush on anyone in so long. My job has been keeping me from settling down and getting to know anyone. Until I met the Macmanus twins. Connor is different than any other man i've gone out with. His kind, courageous, strong, and protective personality made me fall head over heels. His eyes and accent...

"Cora?" I snapped out of it, everyone was staring at me. "What?" Connor looked at me but just smiled. Suddenly the door burst open, and fuckin Russians barged through the door.
