I know I haven't updated in a while but I will try to update more, and deffinetly finish this story so I can move on to my others. Oh and above is Cora.
As we walked out of the garage, a guy with a long black coat stood before us with dark sunglasses covering his eyes, and a grey beard. Not another one. He stood legs apart and held two guns out on either side.
"Shit." Rocco cursed under his breath as the guy started to shoot.
Connor pushed me behind a bush and went back out before I could protest. I watched helplessly behind the bush as they fought.
The bearded man dropped the two guns in his hands and opened the sides of his jacket revealing more guns. I had to help them I thought, I got up from behind the bush and pulled out two guns and started to shoot.
Suddenly the bearded man turned on his heel and left. "What the hell, who the hell was that?" Rocco shouted limping towards the car. I shook my head in confusion, as a sharp pain shot up my stomach. Shitt.
I looked down at my black shirt getting blacker by the minute, and tried pressing down on it with my hands.
I could feel Connor's gaze on me and without a word picked my up and carried me bridal style to the car. "Connor." Black and blue spots hung in the air in front of me.
"Cora, hang in there. We are just to blocks away from Rocco's. Murphy drive faster." I looked up at Connor's face, his blue eyes, his crooked smile.
"Connor... I love you." I whispered.
He gave me a sad smile, "I love you too Cora, but you're not leaving me."
The car door slammed and I felt myself being lifted out of the car and hurried into the dining room and sat in a chair.
"Cora, this will hurt, but you need to be strong, a strong swedish lass." Connor crouched in front of me. Murphy frantically ran around the room.
"This will hurt like fecking hell Cora." Murphy added plugging something in.
"What are you guys talking about? I feel fine." I felt my vision start to get fuzzy at the edges.
"Bite down on this babe." Connor put a cloth between my teeth, my stomach started to flutter and I felt goosebumps craw up my arms, babe. He lifted up my shirt just enough to cover my bra, but I wish it was higher. I mentally slapped myself, Cora get your head out of the gutter, something important is about to happen.
Murphy dug into my wound.

Her scream was unbearable. I turned my head away, and felt the tears forming. I desperately wanted to push Murphy away from her and hug her. But we couldn't bring her to the hospital. I got up and walked outside, I couldn't bear it anymore. Her scream broke my heart.
A few minutes later the screaming stopped and I went back inside. Cora lay slumped in the chair breathing heavily her cheeks were rosy and her eyes were puffy.
"Cora, I'm so sorry, I should have just kept you here, I shouldn't have let you go." I felt so guilty.
"No, Connor, I would have never let you, I wanted to go, I put myself out there." She whispered.
"Ok. At least get some sleep." I picked her up, she was light as a feather, and carried her back to the room. I laid her on the bed.
"Connor, don't go, stay." She mumbled. She looked so fragile, so different than before when she was fighting. My breath caught as I lay next to her on the bed. She peered at me with her soft light green eyes.
"You know how I said before that I loved you?"
"Yes." I remembered that moment so vividly, I hoped she wouldn't take back what she had said.
"Well, I do love you, no matter what we've gone through or will go through, and I know for a fact that I will be by your side whether you like it or not."
"Is that a threat, Cor?"
She smiled slightly, "Maybe, you better watch out, I can beat you up."
"Is that right?"
"Yeah even crippled." She winked, "Goodnight Conn."
"Night Cora." She closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.
I smiled and felt myself start to go to sleep as well.
