For almost an entire year, since Ryan became the Misfits' manager, I had been contacting him about an internship. I had also been a fan of the Misfits like Ryan had been, since the beginning. I hoped that one day if they needed a position filled for an intern that I would get the lucky chance of working for them.

About two days ago I received an email from Ryan, asking If I was still looking to be an intern for him. Of course, I replied with a yes! After responding I received a whole bunch of information about the address to an Air B and B, the Misfits Office and a Plain ticket. I couldn't believe that all of this was happening.  It was strange to think that I was going to be working for Ryan and the Misfits now.

My life was changing before my eyes and I didn't even know it.

Living in America was great but now it was time to leave.

I looked at the plane ticket. My stomach was doing summersaults as I sat in my apartment waiting for my Uber to the airport. I was really leaving. I still couldn't believe that I was doing this. My bags were packed, all of my things were in boxes and the apartment looked empty. The only things left in the place were my roommate's things.

She would be sending most of my boxes to me after I found a place in Melbourne. I looked out the window and watched as cars drove by. Anyone of those cars could be my ride... I thought to myself. I watched as a car pulled up to the curb. I was sure that was my ride. With an inhale of breath, I grabbed my bags and walked out of the door front door, locking it behind me.

Stepping outside, with a sigh, I walked over to the Uber. The driver noticed that I had quite a few suitcases and got out of the car to help me put them in the trunk. I thanked him for being so polite and after he finished placing everything in the back he helped me into the car before getting into the vehicle himself.

"So are you going on vacation someplace?" The friendly Uber asked, hoping to make some kind of conversation during the long ride to the airport.

"I'm moving actually," I said with a small smile. Hearing myself say that made my heart dance a bit. "Really? Where to?" The Uber asked. "Melbourne Australia. I got a job there." I replied. "Oh really? What line of work?" He asked. I froze up. "Um, It's an internship for a film company." I said, hoping to avoid that it was for Youtube. I hate it when people tell me that Youtube isn't a real job.

"Sounds cool." The driver responded. I nodded and he didn't say much after that. After a minute of silence, he looked at me. "Do you like music?" I nodded. "Cool." He said turning on the radio. For about an hour we listened to a whole bunch of different pop songs before arriving at our destination.

As we came to a stop at the airport drop off he politely helped me out of the car and grabbed my luggage out of the trunk for me. "Thanks so much." I spoke handing him cash for the ride. "It's no problem. Have fun in Melbourne." He smiled before driving away. He was nice... I thought to myself walking towards the entrance of the airport.

I had my bags checked, went through TSA, got a coffee from one of the shops and walked to my gate. I took a seat close to the door. As I settled in, I texted Ryan to let him know I made it to the airport and was ready to leave. I took a sip of my warm coffee, letting the bittersweet liquid run across my tastebuds before swallowing. It was nice to have coffee so early in the morning.

It was a long morning for me. Making sure everything was ready for me when I left was not something I wanted to have to do at 6 in the morning, but I had to be to the airport at 8 so when my plane left at 9, I would be there on time.

As time went on more and more people filled by the gate waiting for the plane to get in. Some families looked like they were going home from vacation, or going on vacation, there were businessmen in business suits and some adults that had headphones in and laptops out. They looked like your average traveling gamer.
