"First day of school, how hard could it be?" I mumbled to myself.
My name is Reagan O'Brien, I am currently 17 and am starting my senior year in high school. I wouldn't say I'm popular but I'm well know at my school for being captain on the fútbol/soccer team and stuff like that. I am one of the smartest girls in my class next to my best friend Chelsea who does volley ball. I pretty much have everything in life except a boyfriend, some boys do like me but I don't really want a guy in my life right now except my best guy friend Ashton. He is literally the sweetest and most loving human being on the planet, but I'm not going into detail. Ashton is in this band with
these three other guys but they're not really that famous anywhere else besides here in Riverstone (small town in Australia). One guy in the band, Calum, is the one person who I actually think I hate and I never say that about people but Calum is a jerk and when we were all juniors last year he bullied me and beat up everyday after school, I never knew why but just went through with it but I never told anyone. I would usually have to cover up my bruises and scars with a lot of make up.
Hopefully now he has changed, because I tried to avoid him all summer.

I arrived at school driving in my black Acura MDX, my hair was in a high ponytail and I just had on some shorts and lace top with some jewelry and sandals (outfit in description) nothing special.
As I walked in I saw Ashton and right when he saw me he had open arms for me to run into so of course I did. Over the summer Ashton was normally with the band which meant Calum would be around so I didn't see him much.
"Hey stranger"he said while my arms were gripped tightly around his neck. He set me down and wrapped his arms around my waist, in a friendly way of course and I finally spoke up. "Ugh I missed you so much". "Yeah me too, why didn't you ever come over that much over summer?" he questioned. "I was just really busy looking at colleges and family stuff like that."
