Chapter 14: who

People wearing black cloaks with hoods and red cloud symbols were talking inside a room with a huge table in the middle. There were about 8 people sitting.

"Is it really a wise decision to leave those 3 kids to do this mission without supervision.." a man said seriously

"It's for us to have inside people.. it's also better since they think we trust them.. but then again.. they're smart enough to know that if they try anything.. they're dead.. they know they can't escape us.." the person who seems to be their leader said.

A girl with blue hair nodded ".. makes sense.."

"..so..the nine tails and the one tail is in konoha.. such a great opportunity.. do those kids not know about our target?.. about the tailed beasts?" A shark looking creature said.

"No." Their leader said.

"Then-" the shark creature got interrupted

"I want them to find out about those themselves... we can't keep spoon feeding them.. they're gonna get spoiled.." he says and smirked ".. it's up to them.. to find out their real mission.." he adds

It was now morning, Seph had finished getting ready and headed out of their room for more investigation. As he left the room and closed the door, he turned around and saw Gaara, leaning on the railing and just looking at the view. Seph grinned, having an idea, he went over to the sand nin

"Hey there.. you're Gaara, right?" Seph asked him. Gaara looked at him and nodded "yea.." he says awkwardly yet with not much emotion.

"Hehe.. sorry if this is creepy.. but I'd like to be friends.. hehe acquaintances at least" he smiled.

"Why?" Gaara asked as he raised an eyebrow. Seph chuckled cutely and scratch the back of his head awkwardly "Well.. I find you really cool.." he says acting all innocent and embarrassed.

Gaara was surprised by the compliment "Ah.. thanks.." he says awkwardly, "you're not bad yourself" he says awkwardly and hesitantly. Unsure of how to respond to that. "Ahh.. hehe.. thanks.." Seph says awkwardly

"You're teammates are your siblings right?.. it's so cool that the 3 of you are all powerful and unique" Seph says. "Hmm..You think so?" Gaara says and Seph nods.

Gaara's siblings went out "ey yo Gaara, I'll just head out to the market" Kankuro said. Gaara nods "where's Temari?" He asks. "She headed out somewhere.. I don't know where" kangkuro says. Gaara just nods and let him leave.

Seph stood beside Gaara and leaned on the railing as well as he looked at the view of konoha, smiling a little. Gaara looked at him at the side of his eye. They stayed like that for a while. It was silent and once again awkward.

Gaara then turned his head to Seph "what happened during our fight?" He asked.

Seph was surprised and so he turned his head to Gaara, his eyes slightly wide. "Huh?" He asked. Gaara looked serious "well you were about to win. But you suddenly looked shocked about something. Giving me an opening to aim for you." He says. Seph continued to look at him, he was silent for a while, not knowing what to say. He then chuckled "ahh.. heh well.. I rarely use that chain skill and when I do.. sometimes my head would hurt terribly" he says. It was a half lie. Gaara just glances at him and nods "I see.. well.. I have a lot of questions about our fight.. but I guess it might be too personal or insensitive of me, right?" Gaara says. Seph looks at him and smiles "well it really depends on the question. Don't worry it's fine." He says reassuringly. "Good fight by the way. Don't worry. No hard feelings" he says as he offers a hand out for a handshake in which Gaara accepts with a small smile "yea, good fight" he says.
