      Lexi POV

My eyes began to scan over each and every feature of the picture that I took of Zayn. He was lounging in a chair, his left hand resting on his chin as he smiled, one leg over the other. His hair was windswept, sporting a curly quiff. This was one of my favorite hairstyles on Zayn because he made it look so effortless, not having to do anything to it. Louis was leaning on one of the arms of the chair, his hair covered by the gray beanie on his head. He was talking on the phone, Eleanor I think it was, as he’s smiling at whatever had been said. I liked this picture a lot because it captured something their fans never get to see. They get to see their happiness, their normality instead of what the paparazzi always seem to capture.

      “What are you doing babe?”

Zayn had come up behind me, wrapping his tattooed arms around my neck in an embrace as I was sitting at my desk.

“Looking at some pictures I took while we all went on that road trip,” I explained to him, leaning my head back for a kiss. He smiled down at me before leaning down, our lips meeting for a tender kiss.

“That was a fun trip, yeah,” he asked, kissing my forehead before going over to the window, leaning on it. I smiled at him, seeing how the sun shone just right to hit him in all the right places, making him look like a god.

“One of the best trips of my life.”

“That’s good. You know I have to meet the guys pretty soon.”

I nodded my head. “I know.”

“What are you gonna do while I’m gone?” I shrugged. “Maybe… wedding planning,” he asked, bowing his head and smiling at me as he again began to approach me. He held my hands, as if we were about to dance in the middle of the room and I started to giggle.

“Perhaps,” I said as he pulled me in closer. “Or maybe I’m arranging the baby’s room.”

“Don’t you mean rearranging, again,” he teased. I lightly smacked him. “I’m just asking since it’s… what? You’re third time remaking it?”

“At least I didn’t ask for your help,” I teased back, making him laugh again.

“I wouldn’t mind helping. But I know how anal you are about it so I’m just supplying the funds.”

I rolled my eyes playfully. “Maybe I’ll invite the girls over. I haven’t seen them since we got back. I was pretty gutted that Eleanor couldn’t go.”

“Then it’s settled,” he said before he twirled me, making me laugh even harder.

“Alright enough twirling before you see the remains of this morning’s breakfast.”

“Don’t have to tell me twice,” he joked, putting his arms up as if to surrender. “I’ll drop Lea off at daycare on my way to the meeting, yeah?” I nodded my head. He came over and kissed me twice on the lips before kissing me on my forehead. “I love you.”

“I love you,” I smiled before kissing him again. He backed out the door, smiling at me before going towards Lea’s room. I ran my fingers through my hair, sighing as I realized how much planning I had to do. A wedding and a baby? It was a lot for me to process.

I turned around, Zayn scaring me as he ran back into the room with Lea on his hip. He leaned down and kissed me. “Alright, now I’m leaving. If you need anything, just call me, okay?” I nodded my head. “I’m serious Nina. If you need anything-“
