Joon didn't hate many things, but one of the few things he detested was Ethan's shit-eating grin.
When he arrived at work, he knew something was out of place.
Zyporrah was fuming to say the least and Ethan was in an overly chirper mood.
"What did you do to my secretary?" Joon demanded as he reviewed through his stacks of paperwork on his desk. "I don't like seeing my best employee angry."
"I didn't do a thing," Ethan responded as his smile grew wider and wider, while skimming papers in his hands. "Maybe she's finally realized that she can't live without me."
"Unlikely." Joon quipped as he rolled his eyes. "You're not even her type."
"Oh?" Ethan responded with interest. "Then what is her type?"
Joon rolled his eyes at Ethan, annoyed with how difficult he was being towards Zyporrah. He knew she could handle him, but even he at times was overwhelmed by his chaotic nature.
He never understood why women threw themselves at him. Joon believed that most women opened their legs for Ethan just to shut him up and have him leave than being constantly pestered. He doubted Ethan was even a good lay. He knew Garrett definitely was, but Ethan. . . He seemed more bark than bite.
"Even if I told you, it wouldn't matter." Joon said as he continued to skim reports and compare documents. "You're not exactly a good lay Ethan."
"Says who?!" Ethan responded angrily as he slammed his paperwork on Joon's desk, his pride suddenly taking a harsh blow. "Who says I'm not a good fuck?"
"Really?" Joon deadpanned at Ethan's outburst. "All you do is fuck whores and women who are thirsty for a hefty check. I could literally show my dick to that bitch Giselle and she would cum at the sight if she knew she was getting paid."
Ethan's blood boiled at Joon's comment. He was confident in his performance in the bedroom and in his expertise in pleasuring women, but if he needed to prove Joon wrong in order to further his claim on Zyporrah then he would do so. He would show him that he was a good lay, stroke his ego even higher, and Joon would join him as well.
"So what's Zyporrah's type?" Ethan asked as he pulled his phone out of his pocket and began to type, the soft clicking acting as a soft mantra to diminish his rage.
"Fat." Joon replied as he watched Ethan, slowly becoming skeptical of his behavior. "That's her type."
"What?" Ethan asked as he tried to process what was told to him as he continued to type on his phone.
"Thick bois, chunky monks, bears, juicy lucy's, dummy thickums, thunder thighs, rolly pollys, get it now?" Joon carried on. "She likes her type with extra meat, and you're not it."
Ethan grinned at this new information. Though to be fair, it wasn't exactly new. At the munch he saw that that Quillon was fairly close to Zyporrah and from what he remembered from his physical appearance, he was definitely on the hefty side. They had obviously shared a more physical relationship which had ended when Lillian came into the picture.
Of course he wouldn't decide to gain weight, he had worked hard in keeping his body in optimum fitness that the thought of gaining even twenty pounds seemed ludacris. Though he didn't completely understand Zyporrah's type, he did love smacking a fat ass so maybe they did have some common ground.
"Now that you know you don't have a chance with her, can we please continue with this merger?" Joon exasperated. "I would like some progress before lunch."
"What's happening at lunch?" Ethan inquired as he began to review the discarded paperwork once again. "Finally going on a lunch date with someone?"
"Just free time from you," Joon retorted as he looked at messages on his computer causing Ethan to chuckle at his remark.
Soon their quibbles ended and they resumed their work. Documents decorated with graphs and spreadsheets were exchanged, editted, and placed in different areas of Joon's desk. Some time had passed and a great portion of the financial agreements of the merger had been completed. With a sigh of relief, they both figuratively patted themselves on the back for making such great painstaking progress.
🎶ATTENTIOONNNNN!
So I'm outside of the club and you think I'm a punk
So I go to my loaded tech nine that's off in the trunk

I ain't never scared

I ain't never scared
I ain't never scared
I ain't never scared
I ain't never scared
I ain't never scared 🎶Quickly fetching his phone out of his pocket, Ethan was curious yet apprehensive of what response he would receive. As he tapped through his phone, a mischievous grin spread widely on his face.
"Rain check on that free time Joon," Ethan commented as ill intent dripped from his lips. "We're going to have lunch with Garnett in an hour."
Joon frowned, what the fuck did Ethan convince Garrett into doing and what did it have to do with him.
Raising up from his seat, Ethan stretched. His muscles screamed in joy from no longer being confided and his member twitched slightly at what was soon to come.
"Are we actually having lunch or is this some fucked up scheme?" Joon asked, not rising from his seat. "I have meetings to attend to Ethan."
"Just cancel them," Ethan replied as he waved off Joon's reluctance and suspicion. "Or you can have our sweet Miss. Hayes attend them in your stead, we'll only be gone for two hours, maybe four tops."
"Four hours?!" Joon yelled. "Who the fuck has lunch for four hours?!"
Ethan sighed in annoyance, looking at the office ceiling so as not to ruin his plans with a slip of his tongue. Joon was really going to try and ruin his fun, but he wouldn't have it.
"Garrett stated that he's gone completely out of his way to make sure everything was in order for us to be comfortable," Ethan replied doing his best as to not give away any details. "He also stated that if he texted you, you would either ignore his message or deny by saying you had too much work."
Joon pinched the bridge of his nose to ward off a creeping headache. He knew Garrett was right. As Joon viewed himself the most analytical one in their group, Garrett was most definitely the most observant. Sighing in defeat, Joon arose from his seat much to Ethan's excitement and headed towards the door. After quickly replying to Garrett, Ethan grinned widely and patted Joon on the back as they headed out of his office.
"You won't regret this, I'm promise."
