Lucky Stars - Chapter Eight

Beau and I had been going out for 1 year, it had been a wonderful year, yes we had had our fights but we always got through and we loved each other so much. He was coming over tonight and we were going to go to the movies. It was 4 o'clock Saturday afternoon, I had been ready since 3:30 (wearing: a floral crop top and black tight skirt with black flats) I was just waiting for Beau to come over.

"Hey babe" he said when I opened the door and he was standing there (3L milk challenge clothes) it was quite a warm day, well it was summer. "You look nice, as usual" he said pulling me closer to him. "Girlfriend boyfriend tattoos" he said pointing to my tattoo, I smiled and gave him as kiss. "Totally forever and always" I smiled after pulling away from our kiss. "Can I tell you something?" he said looking worried or nervous. Was he going to break up with me?

"Yeah of course, should we sit?" I asked him

"Yeah sure" we walked into my lounge room and took a seat on the couch. He turned to face me and I crossed my legs facing him.

"Ok so we've been together for a little longer than a year now right?" he asked me

"Yeah about a year a few months" I smiled

"Ok and I wanted to tell you that I think I've really fallen for you, I think I'm in love with you Alex" he said looking down at his lap. We had pretty much been through everything together, when I moved into the granny flat in the back of the house he had been the one that helped me move, when ever I got sick he would come and spend the day with me, he didn't care if he got sick too just as long as he was with me, and I loved him for that.

"I think I'm in love with you too, but I'm scared of falling too deep" I looked at my nails

"Hey" he put his hand under my chin and lifted my face up to be in front of his, his beautiful green eyes looking into mine "I'll tell you something, these tattoos connect us and as long as they're on us we will be together okay" he smiled at me, that was the most beautiful thing anyone had ever said to me.

"I love you Beau, as long as this tattoos on me I will love you" i pointed to my tattoo and he pulled down his tshirt to show his.

"Forever" he let go of his shirt and leaned in to kiss me.

"Oh that was actually a good movie" Beau said when we were walking to the car from the cinemas.

"Yeah it was" I said jumping in the passenger seat after Beau got in the drivers seat.

"Alright let's go back to mine or yours?" beau asked starting the car

"Mine I guess" I relied bukling my seatbelt.

We drove for about 10 minutes before we got to the big street, it had all little streets coming out of it. We were driving and listening to music. Next to you by Justin bieber and chris brown came on. "This should be our song" Beau smiled. We were Both singing along to what we had named our song in the car when all of a sudden a Holden came speeding out of one of the streets and seemed to be coming towards us. "What the fuck!" Beau yelled he slammed on the brakes but it was too late. "BEAUUUU" I screamed, he didn't answer me. The holden had slammed right into the drivers door and Beau had been there. I moved my legs around, they werent broken because I felt no pain when I moved them. I looked over at Beau, he had blood coming out of his head and nose. He was breathing but wasn't moving. I felt tears start streaming down my face. "beau please answer me please" I pleaded. His eyes flickered open. "Alex I love you remember that okay" he said "Beau dont say that don't leave me stay awake keep your eyes open" I said to him calmly. His eyes started flickering shut again. "Beau stay awake" I said a little louder. "I have to get out of the car ok stay awake" I said to him, I carefully opened the car door. I hoped out of the car, my arm was throbbing but I ignored it, my head was pounding but I ignored it, I had to get help for Beau. There was about 5 cars stopped outside, the owner of the Holden was a guy maybe a few years older than me, maybe 22, he was crying, I didn't even care, this was his fault, he had caused all this, he had come slamming into the drivers side and caused Beau all that pain, I hated him and I just wanted to go yell at him but I didn't I had to get help. I started to get dizzy but I ignored it. "SOMEONE CALL TRIPLE ZERO NOW" I yelled, I saw a lady pull out her phone. I felt like I was going to faint but I had to check Beau, this woman was on the phone to triple zero everything was going to be ok, I ran over to the car again and used all my strength to open Beaus door. He had his eyes closed and wasn't moving. I broke down in tears, I put my head on his chest and cried and cried. He had a huge rip in his shirt and you could see his tattoo. "Beau please, wake up! You promised, we promised each other Beau! I need you!" I yelled through tears "don't leave me Beau please! The tattoos! As long as we have our tattoos we will be together Beau" I yelled at him, I wasn't able to wake him up, he wasnt moving. I had tears pouring out of my eyes and my whole face was saturated in tears, I had blood all over my left cheek and blood all over my arm. My head was pounding and my arm was absolutely the most pain I had ever felt, but I ignored it. I Put my head on Beaus chest and cried again.

"Darling we Need you to step away" it was a nurse speaking to me. I stood up and moved out of the way without arguing. I was standing watching them take Beau out of the car when the driver of the Holden who had caused all this had the nerve to come up to me. "Um I'm sorry" he smiled, was he actually smiling at me. I completely lost it. I couldn't stop yelling at him.

"ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS YOU'RE SORRY SORRY ISN'T GOING TO CHANGE THE FACT THAT MY BOYFRIEND IS IN THE BACK OF AN AMBULANCE SORRY IS GOING TO CHANGE THE FACT THAT YOU SLAMMED INTO THE SIDE OF OUR CAR BECAUSE YOU ARE FUCKED IN THE HEAD GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY SIGHT NOW BEFORE YOU NEED A AMBULANCE" suddenly I felt to arms wrap around me, it was Luke, once again I broke down in tears I couldn't stop crying, Luke just wrapped his arms tighter around me and told me everything would be okay. Even though I knew that wasn't true. I knew that if somehow Luke was here it meant Gina would be here too. I looked over Luke's shoulder to the ambulance, the doors had been shut and it was pretty much just me and Luke left and the smashed up car. I watched as the ambulance drove away "no they're leaving without us Luke" I had to go with them, but it was too late, I looked back to Luke, I couldn't see, my vision was blurry. I shook my head but it didnt change I still couldn't see Lukes face properly. "Luke I feel really dizzy" I fall to the ground and everything around me went black all I could hear was yelling but I didn't have the strength to open my eyes. That was the last I remember of that night.
