Lucky Stars - Chapter Fourteen

8 months later

"hey babe how you feeling?" beau asked me, we were sitting on the couch, his arm was around me and one hand was on my stomach. yes I was 8 months pregnant it was actually really exciting to be honest. we were watching toddlers and tiaras, some of the little girls were so cute.

"wonderful knowing I'm carrying your baby" I smiled at him. he leaned in and pushed a strand of my hair behind my ear and kissed me passionately. "okay do you want a coffee?" I asked after we stopped kissing. I struggled to get up with my huge stomach. yes, that's another thing, we're having twins. yes, twins, Luke and Jai type twins. when we found out we were shocked because beaus not a twin and neither am I but because he had them in his family there was a chance that I could have twins. we didn't know what type, meaning boys, girls or boy and girl or whether they were fraternal or identical like Luke and Jai were because we hadn't asked those sort of questions but we just knew they were twins. "here" beau said standing up and holding out his hand for me to take. I grabbed his hand and he pulled me up, then I felt it. a massive pain throughout my stomach. "fuck" I yelped and crashed back down onto the couch gripping my baby's inside my stomach as tight as humanly possible. "babe are you okay? im ringing the hospital now hang on" beau pulled out his phone and dialed the number, he was out through straight away and an ambulance was on the way.

beaus POV

"okay sir you'll have to wait out here while we take your wife into emergency" the nurse told me.

"what? will the babies be okay? what's going to happen? will Alex be alright? I can't loose her" I spat everything at the nurse.

"everything should be okay. I'm not going to promise anything" she said as she walked off into the hospital room. what? she can't promise me? me and Alex nearly lost each other once because of me I'm not going to loose her and our babies. Alex was my world and so were these babies and they weren't even born yet. I carefully put my hand in my shirt just over my tattoo, as long as we have these tattoos we will be together, forever.

*same place 2 hours later*

"Beau.... Brooks" the nurse said as she came out of the room. I rubbed my eyes, I had fallen asleep on the chair in the waiting room after being awake for so long and they hadn't let me in the room.

"yes" I jumped up, the woman had a serious look on her face, I was a little worried.

"come through" she said signaling me to come through the doors. I speed walked to the nurse and walked though the doors and saw my beautiful wife laying on the bed, no babies in her arms and she had tears in her eyes. oh my god what's happen... I ran over to her. "what happened? is everything okay?" I said to her. "they made me do it without you, I wanted you here Beau, they wouldn't come get you" she cried into my shoulder. "babe don't worry I was just outside is everything okay? don't be upset now be happy we have babies" I said hopefully. "yes two beautiful children. you're very lucky mr and mrs Brooks, a boy and a girl" the nurse said walking in holding two beautiful pink chubby babies. I felt a small tear run down my cheek as the nurse handed me my daughter and son. this was the absolute most amazing day of my life, despite when I married Alex. she moved over in the bed so I could lay down next to her. I kissed my daughters cheek and handed her to Alex and just stared at my son in awe, he was beautiful, he had Alex's beautiful big green/brown eyes and the most beautiful little nose and cheeks, just everything about him was beautiful.

"so have you thought of names yet?" Luke asked. him, Mel (who he was now married to) Jai, Izzy (they were engaged) James, Daniel and Emily -they had a thing too- had all come to the hospital. parents and grandparents had come and had left, they had been here for quite awhile though. "Well we have decided on Billy and Mia? good or no?" I asked everyone. "Thats so cute I love it... billy and Mia brooks amazing" Emily said as everyone smiled at Billy and Mia in me and Alexs laps. this was the most amazing day I couldn't stop smiling.
