Sobin(Steve x Robin fan fic)

It was a Thursday afternoon and robin was at Hawkins high at lunch with her few friends

Marshall- Robin have you even ever had a boyfriend?
Robin- well uh

Robin contemplated telling them part of the truth, that she'd never had a boyfriend, but she thought that might be suspicious and they'd find out she liked girls. Although she did like guys too as she recently found out, she didn't want them knowing about her liking Steve Harrington. She decided to just flat out lie. She sucked it up and used Steve as a cover up.

Robin- yes. I've been meaning to tell you guys but i in fact do have a boyfriend.
Marshall- *gasps*
Kenny- Robin who is it??
Lillian- and you didn't tell us!!?? Who?

Robin laughed lightly she couldn't believe what she was doing.

Robin- I can't tell you now. Besides you wouldn't believe me but I'll tell you guys tomorrow.
Marshall- UGHH why? I just wanna know now
Lillian- yea me too!
Kenny- I'm just surprised you're into dudes robin, for the longest time I thought you were lesbian
Robin- really? That's so crazy no I like guys.

After school ended robin frantically rushed to Steves house. She dropped her bike off in his front yard and knocked on his window. Confused, Steve opened his window to see that it was his best friend.

Steve- Robin what are y-
Robin- no time Steve help me up

Steve helped her through the window and into his room.

Robin- I need you to be my boyfriend for a little bit-
Steve- woah what
Robin- no not like that I just need you to pretend that you're my boyfriend
Steve- okay I mean I'm honored but, why?
Robin- I don't want anyone finding out
Steve- ooohhh
Robin- yea ooohhh
Steve- okay well what do you want me to do?
Robin- I don't know just act like you're my boyfriend I mean I don't know what that's like as I've clearly never had a boyfriend before.

Steve sat on his bed thinking while robin paced around his room stressed out.

Robin- I mean as it is Kenny said he already just assumed I was lesbian, oh oh my god what if other people at school think that?
Steve- well fuck the people at school it's not even their business. Just a bunch of low life's. I mean robin come on you really care what those people think about you? You're great! You're an amazing person. Don't let them ruin that for you.
Robin- thanks Steve.
Steve- and no need to worry because now you have a boyfriend!
Robin- well not really-
Steve- ah ah ah, see that robin. Forget that it's fake. See you have to get into the mindset that we're actually together  since that's what everyone else knows. The only people that know it's fake is us. So it's not like we can stop pretending around certain people, we have to keep this up so it's believable.
Robin- yea. But it's weird. Because you're my best friend and yea.
Steve- so what do you want me to do and when
Robin- I don't know. I haven't thought this out I had to quickly make up a lie on the spot and you're the only guy that I know that knows about my secret sooo.
Steve- do you want me to like, kiss you or..?
Robin- I mean i guess so? God the last time I kissed a guy I was in first grade and this kid had a crush on me so he just kissed me one day.
Steve- *laughing* oh dear god robin. Do you want me to teach you?
Robin- sure.
Steve- okay so stand here
Robin- okay. Now what?

Steve got up and moved over to face robin
Steve- okay now this isn't gonna be weird okay because it's fake we're not actually dating but I'm gonna kiss you and you put your hands around my neck so it looks natural and not weird
Robin- ...okay..

Steve went to kiss Robin but her eyes stayed open in shock. Steve pulled away.
Steve- *laughing* Robin you gotta close your eyes
Robin- oh shit sorry

They kissed again but this time she closed her eyes. He started to put his hands on her waist but then she pulled away  while high pitch laughing and falling onto his bed
Robin- That tickles Steve don't do that *laughing*
Steve- okay what if I picked you up and spun you instead? Would that work?
Robin- maybe? We could try.
Steve- okay just stand there. When I pick you up, wrap your legs around me-
Robin- like a monkey in a tree?
Steve- no- sure. Yes. Like a monkey in a tree. So you don't fall. And then we'll spin, hold on.
Robin- this is so weird. Okay.

They practiced doing that a few times until robin got it down.

*a few minutes later*

Steve- okay you're doing good. Should we go on a fake date so people see us together?
Robin- that's a good idea yes. Where though?
Steve- the arcade?
Robin- that works

They hopped in his car and drove off the the arcade. They got a few glances from people who they went to school with, but that was the point they wanted people to know.
Steve- we should actually have fun.
Robin-  yea. We should.

They had a good time in the arcade. They decided to kiss in hopes that people from Hawkins high would see. But as they were kissing Lucas mike and max walked in and saw. The three kids Jaws dropped
Steve- *whispering* oh shit robin
Robin- what?
Steve- the kids are here, or three of them at least
Robin- *looks over at them* wait are those the same kids that you're friends with that also were there when the demigorgan almost killed us all?
Steve- yes.
Robin- oh shoot
Steve- you know what that's good more people that know the better. We just have a lot of explaining to do.
