Chase woke up on the tattered couch in the living room, because Michael had taken his room, and planned to stay there. He opened his eyes, and took in a breath of air from the shack he's living in, only to inhale the strong sent of pure smoke. He sat up, worried about his older brother, and how much he was smoking throughout the night. Concerned, he stood up, and began walking towards his brother's new bedroom. He began knocking on the door, hoping for an answer from his brother, but he got no response. Chase knocked another time, but again, no answer. Chase, beginning to panic, he through the door open and ran in, looking around the room, searching for Michael, but he was no where to be seen. A sticky note was placed on Michael's pillow, that had no pillowcase on it. Chase started coughing due to the large residue of smoke in Michael's room before he noticed something was resting on top of Michael's pillow. Chase looked over at the sticky note that was placed on top of the pillow, and he walked over to the mattress, crouching down. He read the sticky note, although the messy handwriting was hard to make out, he managed to understand the message. "I'll be back". Chase stood up straight, and began waiting.

Chase began getting more worried, thousands of thoughts running through his head as to what happened, and if he would ever be back. Michael could've easily placed the note on the pillow, to stall time for him to run away from the house, knowing chase would wait for him before searching. While frantically worrying, chase took out a nearly broken iPhone 6 that his mom had gotten him 3 years ago, before he had left. Now that he's gotten Michael's number, he frantically began calling his older brother, hoping that the argument last night didn't make him leave again. Chase continued his attempt to reach his older brother several times, and as his hunger began growing, so did his worrying.

Michael lied on a pink, frilly bed, in a room that seemed to have a never ending supplies of pink. He yawned, stretched, and opened his eyes from a long sleep. Michael sat up, and looked at his burner phone which had 12 miss calls from Chase. He sighed, and began dialling Chases number, when a girl walked into the room, turning the lights on. Her hair was a straight, chocolate milk brown colour, the length of it cutting off just where the rib cage ends, she had pine green eyes, and freckles. Her nails were painted a shade of dark pink, and she was wearing light pink silk pyjamas, made by Chanel. She walked over, and sat beside Michael on the bed. He put his burner phone away, stopping the phone dial towards Chase, and put his hand through his hair.
"Hey sweetheart, breakfast almost ready?" he asked, teleporting a bottle of hair gel to himself, and slicking his white hair back, his red eyes beginning to adjust to the light.
"Almost, but we can't tell my dad you came over. I don't think he would like it when I hung out with a guy that I never met before." She responded with, while she was playing with a string of her hair.
Michael laughed to himself.
"Am I just "some guy"? We can change that sweetheart, you just have to get to know me better." He said, putting his finger under her chin to make eye contact with her.
Just before Michael was going to lean in for a make out session, the sound of footsteps going upstairs travelled through the walls. Seconds later, a man opened the door and walked in, he had brown hair, a brown beard, crystal blue eyes, and he was wearing an orange hoodie, with the logo and title of the Denver Broncos on it, with blue jeans. He looked at his daughter, knowing he had heard a voice.
"Bella, who were you talking to?"
She looked at where Michael was beside her, but he was no where to be seen.
"I was just on the phone with Jessica, she needed help for her homework that's due Monday. " she replied with, looking over at her window that was open.
The dad nodded, walked into her room and shut the window.
"Breakfast is ready, come join us and your little brother."
Bella nodded, and got up from her bed, walking out of her room. The dad looked out of the window, at which he saw someone with white hair running away from their house, and down the sidewalk in their neighbourhood in the distance. He sighed, thinking that it might be someone going out for a morning run. He walked out of his daughters room, shutting the door behind him.
