Michael landed on his feet outside of the house, grimacing to himself that he couldn't take his car back home, due to tracking possibilities. He took the mask off his face, and walked inside the house, shutting the door behind him. He walked to his younger brother's room, and creaked the door open, to check on Chase. Michael sighed in relief when he saw his younger brother still asleep, under the same heap of blankets, and with that, he shut the door gently, and walked back to his own room. Michael plopped himself down on his bed, and grabbed a magazine off from his beside table, flipping through it. The magazine was yet another woman magazine, with a picture of a girl on the front wearing provocative clothing, and a face full of makeup. Michael snickered to himself, as he teleported himself a beer and a cigarette box. He began drinking the beer, and removing a cigarette out from the box, taking a lighter out from a drawer in his bed side table. He slowly began chugging the beer, setting down the magazine and standing up. He knew he had to get his smoking session done now before Chase woke up. Michael walked out of his room, and walked outside the house, shutting the door behind him. He lit the cigarette, and began smoking, sighing in satisfaction. He blew the smoke out, putting his hand through his hair.

Michael finished 2 cigarettes, and walked back inside the house, beginning to walk towards his room, when the sound of a toilet being flushed and the sink being turned on in the bathroom sounded. Michael flinched, knowing that Chase was now up, he had to get the sent of smoke off him, fast.
Chase walked out from the washroom, rubbing his eyes and yawning. He sniffed the air, scrunching his nose from the foul smell of smoke radiating off of Michael.
Michael looked at chase, standing still, and Chase walked right past him. He was invisible.
"Mikey? Are you up?" Asked chase, walking towards Michael's room.
Michael jumped, and teleported in his bedroom, under the covers, becoming visible.
"Bud?" Asked Michael from his room, beginning to sweat nervously as he faked a yawn.
Chase opened the door, and walked inside the room.
"You... smell like smoke." Said Chase, looking at Michael.
"I do? What? Nah.. it might be from forest behind us outside. Some people were camping and had a bonfire. I left my window open during the night." Responded Michael.
Chase folded his arms, and looked at Michael with a suspicious look on his face.
"Promise? You aren't smoking?" Asked Chase, concern showing in his face.
Michael nodded.
"Yep. Promise." Said Michael. He had been lying for years, and it was almost like a talent he had now.
Chase nodded, smiling and plopping himself on the end of the bed. To chase, making a promise to someone meant that whatever they were saying was true, even if it didn't make sense.
Michael nodded, looking over at the magazine on his side table. He grabbed it and shoved it under his pillow, looking at chase and smiling nervously.
Chase stood up again.
"Cmon! Let's make some breakfast." He said, walking out from the room.
Michael sighed in relief that he didn't get caught, so he stood up, and followed chase out from his room, to the kitchen.
