To be alone can make anyone very alonely and sad, or make one feel ill.
The trouble is not some much being alone
It's being lonely out in the rain without someone
to hold your hand to say everything will be okay
Too many nights of crying, wishing this emptiness
Would go away.

Too many cold nights sleeping alone
I think about all the lies
the pains of Dark Angels
I want to stop listening to his lies
One day I'll soon be over him the rain
one day this old storm will soon go away
Too many nights alone feeling so cold
Sitting here in the dark pouring out my heart
crying to the velvet moon.

One can be lonely in the midst of a crowd
with haters calling your name
pushing you down because they feel hate
all you have is yourself to fight a crowd alone
being alone day and night is a big heartache
cold feeling no love with nothing to gain
nothing to call your own.

no one to stand beside you when the fight is
one can get so very lonely and sick
the one that alone needs to hear I love you
tender words from a lovers lips
given lots of kisses to get through the nights
I will always crave love.

the hunger come as often as the sun's eclipse
every raindrop has a name of my pains
I wish I could dance again away from all my blues
And feel what true love is
All I can do is a dream for true love to find me
to break the spell that Dark Angel put on me
I just have to cry.

I can't explain all the pains that run within me
Dark Angel looks deep at me with his soulless eyes
moving warily dangerous
He inhaled deeply closing his mind instantly
Being alone is a punishment of Dark Angel.
