Sawada Tsunayoshi was already considered a peculiar child at a very young age. He was such an odd ball within his family of three that his mother and father doesn't sometimes know what to do with him.

The first instance of his peculiarity appeared when he was merely seven months of age to which Nana took notice of after almost a month later of its manifestation.

You see, while most children develop the feeling of trust and mistrust during their first 12 months, Tsuna already knew somehow who and what he should or should not trust.

And somehow, he just knew that he needs to listen to that little voice in his head.

It said that it's going to care of him. It also said that it would protect him. That he should listen to it lest he wants something bad to happen.

He can't understand words at such a phase but he could verify a person's intent. And so, at such, his first months of living depended on what the little voice would say.

It was a gut feeling for a child, an intuition when he's a teen, and will be regarded as an otherworldly foresight when he's older.

And so he listens...

The first time it happened was when Nana went inside the grocery store carrying Tsuna, as she couldn't leave behind the little infant, to shop for a month's worth of food.

Now, Tsuna, who was excited of the trip outside, was very happy upon the burst of colors and different shape of foods inside the said store that he couldn't help but to gurgle and reach out to it.

Nana merely laughed at her child when she saw how he acted and let him be in her arms. However, she kept noticing that Tsuna would reach out to certain items every time they pass an isle, wherein if she chose to go further the adorable Tsuna would burst out in tiny sniffles as though to prevent himself from crying.

Nana would have ignored it and only lovingly smile at her little one if it ONLY happened once, but a continuous cry over the same items was quite troubling.

For each sniffle and held back tears of a child was a troubled heart of a loving mother.

Seeing such sight, Nana couldn't help but panic at her little Tsuna's antics over such stuffs. Yet instead of feeling irritated or angry, she fulfilled his adorable attachment to the items which in the end, aside from her planned grocery, she had also bought a heating pad, a small bag of sugar, a pack of tea, and a story book.

To her, only the story book made sense but she also questioned how a seven-month old infant could make use of a story book.

'Eh? Does Tsu-chan want me to read him stories every night?' Nana can't help but think as she paid for everything by the cashier but later on dismissed it as normal 'Well, Tsu-chan is Tsu-chan. Whatever Tsu-chan wants, Mama will buy it for him.' Nana happily thought once more before she warmly showered the now sleeping brunet within her arm with motherly kisses.

A week after Nana bought her groceries and what Tsuna had chosen did she realize that she truly did need those items that her adorable Tsu-chan had picked out!

It was like this, due to the sudden call of her husband that he will come home, Nana decided to go all out in her food preparation. She wanted to shower her husband with a sweet welcome, thus, she decided to bake him a cake. That was when she found out that Tsuna's choice to buy a bag of sugar was a blessing since she had no stack left when she checked the shelf!

"What a coincidence. Tsu-chan is really good to make Mama pick this out for Papa!" She cuddled with the young brunet who somehow made his way to the kitchen by crawling.
