Chapter 31

Siwoo's alarm went off. She opened her eyes and turned it off. She rubbed her eyes sleepily and turned to her right. Jungkook was sleeping on the couch peacefully.

She took the blanket and covered him. He stirred in his sleep. Siwoo smiled as she looked at him. Siwoo gently ran her fingers between his soft hair. *How can a bright kid like you living like that, Jungkook?* she thought. She kissed his head softly before she went up and get ready for school before she woke up Jungkook.

Jungkook and Siwoo walked down the hallway next to each other. "Nuna, I'm sorry for-" "It's okay Jungkook." She smiled.

"Nuna, you can't tell the others about this okay? They know my problem but please don't tell them about the bruise on my back please." He begged. "I don't want them to worry about me." He added. Siwoo smiled before she nodded.

"Good morning princess!" J-Hope hugged her from behind. "Hey." Siwoo chuckled.

Jungkook smiled before he walked away, leaving the couple alone.

After school, they went to a flower shop to get fresh flowers for Jin and Suga's science project.

"Man I hate flower." Suga sighed. Jin nodded in agreement.

"Here, for you." J-Hope gave her a red rose. "Thanks." She took it with a smile. "And this is for you." Jimin handed her few stalks of white tulip. Siwoo smiled, "Thank you Jimin." "For you." Rap Mon appeared with a huge sunflower.

J-Hope lightly smacked his head, "Who give sunflower to a girl?" "Me! Why?" Rap Mon glared at J-Hope. "Hey, it's okay. Rap Mon, thank you for this flower." She smiled. "Siwoo! This is for you!" V appeared with a soft pink carnation. "Thank you V." she smiled widely.

"Nuna." Jungkook called her. Everyone there turned to him and let out a loud gasp. "Man, you win!" J-Hope smiled when he saw the flower bouquet in his hand.

Jungkook handed the bouquet to Siwoo. "Thank you nuna." He said to her. "Jungkook...." She took it from him. "Thank you? For what?" Jimin asked. "Did you do something behind Hope hyung, Siwoo?" V looked suspiciously at her. "Yah!" she then turned to J-Hope. "Oppa, I didn't do anything. Trust me!" she defended herself. J-Hope smiled as he nodded, "I trust you Siwoo."

"I got my flowers here. Now let's leave." Suga said with Jin stood right next to him. "Okay." They all cheered.

Siwoo walked at the front followed by Jimin and Jungkook. "Jungkook, look at this pretty flower." Jimin suddenly stopped. "Aish hyung, stop acting like a girl." Jungkook said to him. He looked up and watched Siwoo as she watched a flower near the shelf at the entrance.

"Oh?" Jungkook frowned he saw a cat walking on top of the shelf. It stopped and started to scratch itself. Accidentally, its paw knocked one of the pots. It stumbled a few times before it fell from its place.

"No! Nuna!" Jungkook ran to her. Right before the pot landed on her head, he pushed her to the side.

"Jungkook!" "Siwoo!" they all noticed what's happening and ran to them.

J-Hope and Suga went to Siwoo, "Siwoo gwenchana?" Suga asked worriedly. "I'm fine but Jungkook..." she looked at him as he rolled in pain.

"Hey, Jungkook! Are you okay?" Jin asked worriedly. "What happen?" the owner of the shop came hurriedly. "The pot fell on his back." Jimin answered.

*his back?* Siwoo thought. "No! We have to bring him to hospital or clinic!" Siwoo said. "What's wrong Siwoo?" Suga looked at her. "His back......."

J-Hope walked back and forth. "So you're telling me his father threw a vase at him?" he looked at Siwoo and she nodded. "I'm sorry. I know I should tell you sooner but he didn't want any of you to know about this." She apologised.

"His mother is okay but I never like his father." Jimin said. "Yeah, remember when he smacked her head hardly in front of us? Since then I never like him." Rap Mon crossed his hands.

J-Hope turned to Siwoo, "Anything else we need to know?"

"Uhm, well... Jungkook is staying at my place for the time being." Siwoo told them.

"He what?!" J-Hope and others were surprise.

"He wouldn't go to your house even if you ask. And he said that Jin's oppa relative is staying at his house so he has no extra room. I can't let him go back to his house knowing that his father might hit him again." Siwoo explained.

"She's right." Suga nodded.

The curtain flew open and Jungkook walked out from it with a doctor.

"Hey, are you okay?" V asked and he nodded. "Some of his muscle injured but he'll be fine in weeks." The doctor told them. "I'm glad to hear that." Jin sighed in relief. The doctor nodded before he left.

J-Hope went to him. He sent two punches on his face.

Siwoo went to him and stopped him, "Oppa!!"

"Yah maknae! That one is for not telling me that you're staying at my girlfriend's house. The other one for not telling us about this! That's a reminder for you so you will tell us if anything like this ever happen again." With that J-Hope left the place.

Suga and Rap Mon smiled. "Yah, how can you smile?" Siwoo looked at them before she looked at Jungkook.

To her surprise, Jungkook was smiling. "Hey, are you okay?" she frowned. "Yeah, I'm okay. That's one thing about J-Hope that will never change." Jungkook said. "That's how he shows he cares for the younger one." Jin nodded. "What?" Siwoo looked at them in puzzle.
