The day ended badly for Siwoo. Like usual, she got bullied by everyone. Lucky for her, Junho helped before thing get worst. The students can be a bit over the top when it came to bully.

"Are you sure you're going to be okay?" Junho asked and Siwoo nodded eagerly. "I'm right in front of my house right?" Siwoo smiled.

"Still-" "Don't worry Junho. I'll be fine. Now go home before your mother starts to call me and ask about you." Siwoo told him.

Junho smiled and he ruffled her hair. "Okay then. Good night." He turned and walked away.

Siwoo smiled to herself, "It's nice to have him around." She went into her house.

"Appa, I'm home." She put her shoe on the shelf. Silent greeted her. "Appa?" but no one's answering.

*I guess he's not home yet.* she put away her bag before she looked at the time. *5 o'clock? I should start on dinner then.* she straight away went to the kitchen.

After an hour and half, she finally finished everything for dinner.

She sat at the couch on the living. *Now all I have to do is to wait for appa.* right then her phone rang. Her face brightened when she read the caller's ID.

"Hello appa!"

"Oh Siwoo-ah? You're home?"

"Yes appa. Is everything okay?" Siwoo asked.

"I think I'll be late tonight so go ahead and eat dinner okay?" Her father told her.

Her face fell, "Appa, don't work too hard."

Her father laughed, "If I don't how do I'll get money for both of us, Siwoo."

"Hang in there appa. I'll finish my study and I'll find a job. You can stay home after that." Siwoo told her father.

Her father laughed again, "My Siwoo is a grown up girl now. If only your mother is still here with us."

At mentioning her mother, Siwoo turned dead.

Her mother passed away 14 years ago when she was three. She died because of high fever. Her dad wasn't at home that day. Siwoo left home to the nearest convenience shop since the owner knows her family. The owner immediately called for an ambulance but when they arrived, it's too late. Her mother was gone. And since then, her father kept blaming himself for not being at home that. But he promised himself that he would do his best to take care of Siwoo, his only child.

"Siwoo, are you still there?" her father's voice brought her back to reality.

"Yes, appa. I'm still here."

"Good. Now you should go and wash yourself, eat dinner, do your homework and then go to sleep okay?"

She nodded, "Okay appa. I'll see you tomorrow I guess."

"Okay.Bye!" her father hung up.

It was almost at 12 when Siwoo stirred in her sleep. She slowly opened her eyes. Then she heard the sound on car engine. She sat up, *he's home*

Her father threw himself on the couch. "What a day." He sighed.

"Appa?" Siwoo silently nestled.

He was surprised. "You're awake? Or did I wake you?" he asked. Siwoo shook her head. She sat next to her father.

"Appa, did you eat?" she asked. He nodded.

She stood up and went into the kitchen. "Siwoo?" her father called. "I know you didn't eat yet so let me reheat them for you." Siwoo answered from the kitchen.

"Do you need anything else, appa?" She asked. "Well, do we still have the pains relieving patches? Can you bring one for me? My backache is getting worst." He said.

Siwoo pulled the drawer to find one but her dismay, they ran out of it. "We don't have it. I'll buy for you later."

Her father was eating in the kitchen when Siwoo grabbed her coat. "Appa, I'm going out for a while."

"Where to? It's late." Her father looked at the clock and it's almost one. "I'm going to the convenient shop for a while." She answered.

"Be careful okay?" her father reminded. "Sure!" and not long after that he heard the front door being opened and closed.
