The next day I get a Facebook notification. I go and click on it and it's a message from Jay. It says "Hey I had fun at the movies last night. Wanna hang out again today?" I quickly type back "Sure. Where and when?" Almost at the exact same time message sent to him I get one back that says "How about right now? But where is a surprise."  "Okay see ya in a few." I start to shut my laptop to get ready but I get a message from him that says" I'm already here." "I'll be out in a sec." I replied quickly. As I was getting ready I thought to myself "Maybe I shouldn't of had him drop me off last night so he wouldn't know where I live because this showing up randomly thing is kinda creepy but it also is kinda cute."

I know that we are almost there when he says "Close your eyes." "But.." "Just close them." About two minutes later he told me I could open my eyes and when I did we were parked near a cliff. I gasped as he went to the trunk of his car and pulled out a red and white checkered blanket, along with a picnic basket and put the blanket out and set the picnic basket on top. He then came back and opened my door and said "Are you coming?" As he helped me out of his car the only thing I could think of was "He is so amazing and sweet."

When we were done eating he moved the basket out of his way and reached over and pulled me close to him and put his arm around my waist as we stared off looking at the city.

At school I get shoved to the ground and my books kicked everywhere. It wasn't like I could of stopped Terry, because she came up behind me and pushed me to the ground and when my stuff fell she picked it up like she was going to give it to me but then she drop kicked it across the hall and said "Stay the fuck out of my way you dumb bitch." Then out of no where Jay shows up and looks her in the eye and says "Leave. Her. Alone." "Make me." She replies as she walks off shaking her hips as all of the single guys stare. "Are you okay?" He turns around and asks me as he helps me up and picks up my stuff. "Yeah. I'll be okay." I say but then he randomly walks off. So I just walked to class. Alone once again.

Later that night I looked at wrist under the bracelets I have on. It's stained red. I reach in my dresser and pull out the blade from the place it belongs and slice my wrist over and over. It's not like anyone cares. My dad walked out on me, bullied everyday, and the guy who I just met, but I thought was my friend, left me deserted in the hall. No one really cares.

The mess I call life only got worse as the day progressed. Until science. Jay was sitting at our table with a piece of paper on his half of the desk and he was writing away fast. "Hey." I said to get his attention." He looked up and said "Hey." back and stood up and gave me a hug. "Well that was different." I thought to myself. Then we both sat down right as the bell was ringing. In the middle of class Jay passed me a note, the was obviously a different piece of paper than what he was writing on at the beginning of class, it said "I need to talk to you after class." "Odd." I thought to myself "Why didn't he just say it to me?"

At the end of class he grabbed me around my waist and pulled me to my locker. He handed me the paper he was writing on at the beginning of class and said "Read this at exactly 11:00 tonight. Then text me okay?" "Okay." I replied. Then he said "Listen I was thinking. I really like you a lot and I love being around you. So um. Will you be my girlfriend?" "Yes." I replied trying not to yell as I reached out and grabbed his hand. I grabbed my stuff out of my locker and he walked me to class, giving me a hug goodbye at the door.
