*10:38 pm that night*
22 minutes until 11:00. 22 minutes until I can know what the note he gave me says. I haven't heard a single word from Jay since the end of the school. "Maybe he is just nervous about whatever the note says." I say aloud to myself.

*10:45 pm*
Now I'm pacing my room counting the minutes until 11:00. I finally decide to distract myself by making myself a hot pocket because I'm hungry and I need to not think about the note.

Now I'm just sitting here on my bed literally counting down the seconds. 30. 29. 28. 27... Gah. I run to my coat and grab the note out of my pocket and run back and jump on my bed. 5. 4. 3. 2. 1. I quickly open the note to read it. It says "I know majority of people don't believe in love at first sight but when I seen you I fell in love. And I fell hard. I like you way more than a lot. I love your smile and laugh and I want you to be mine forever."

*11:05 pm*
I don't even know what to say about the note. But then I hear a tinging noise from my laptop. It's a message from Jay. It says "Did you read it? I wanted to tell you in person but I'm too afraid of rejection and I didn't want to send it over messenger." "Yeah. I read it." "Well?" "I think it's really sweet and cute." "You don't like me? Do you?..." Even though we are messaging I can tell he's really upset. "Did I say that?" I reply back to him. "So is that a yes?" I get back almost instantly. "Yes. It is a yes." "Holy shit. I'm so fucking lucky right now." "Well I have to go.. see you tomorrow at school?" "Yep. See ya tomorrow." Was my final message from him tonight. I climbed into my bed an thought to myself "Maybe, just maybe, my life will get better."
