I flung my front door open having been rudely interrupted from my tv,and had to stop myself from slamming it shut again. Standing tall in my cramped hallway was none other than vinny, the handsome stranger that had weaselled his way into my thoughts practically every day since the party, much to my annoyance.

"Hi" he said, smiling sheepishly.

"Hi" I replied uncertainly, why was he here?

"I was just in the area and thought I'd pop by....see if you maybe wanted to grab a coffee?" He asked casually, stuffing his hands into the pockets of his black jacket, the very same that he had leant me the the other night.

Was he asking me out again?

The thought sent tingles of fear through me, how do I let him down gently?

"Uh no thanks, I'm kinda busy" I said lamely, internally cringing as I heard how blunt that sounded.

He raised a dark eyebrow inquisitively, a small smile playing on his full lips.

"Doing...?" He asked pointedly.

"Uh..." I stammered, taken aback by his forwardness.

"I thought as much" he smirked, stepping forward into the doorway of my apartment.

I instinctively stepped back, distancing myself from him. He pretended not to notice and used the extra space to slip by me and stroll into my living room.

"Excuse me! Who do you think you are, marching into my house like this" I spluttered, shocked at his audacity.

He ignored my protests and picked up the Jersey Shore box set DVD from my coffee table.

"Is this what your busy with?" He grinned, holding the box up.

"Yes" I said crossly, the cheek of this man!

"Get a coat, you're coming out for lunch with me" he said assertively, crossing his arms across his broad chest.

"I don't think so" I replied incredulously, is this guy nuts?

"No arguments" he challenged, chucking the DVD onto the sofa.

"Are you crazy?" I voiced the question that had been on the tip of my tongue since he barged into my apartment.

"Maybe" he grinned, his perfectly straight set of pearly whites distracting me for a moment.

I gawped at him in disbelief, who was this guy and why is he so determined to take me out?

"I'm not leaving until you agree to have lunch with me" he levelled.

"I'll call the police" I bluffed.

" no you won't, you would have called them already if you were going to" he shot back, a wicked glint sparkled in his eyes.

So he was finding this funny...

I glared at him angrily trying to assess if there was anyway I could manhandle him out of my home, he calmly held my gaze for a whole minute until I caved, there was no way I could budge a guy his size.

"Okay, lunch and that's it" I snapped, stalking towards the bedroom to change out of the tee and sweats I was wearing.

When I returned he was sitting on my sofa looking completely at ease and I must say rather pleased with himself.

"Make yourself at home" I muttered sarcastically as I went to get my bag and coat.

He chuckled darkly and rose to his feet, for a second I was side lined by the thought of how small he made my little apartment look, how tall was he anyway, six three, six four?
