Goodnight, Mother

How stupid of me.

My heart began to beat wildly; what did I just do? Me and my fucking mouth... That's why I should never say my mind. I prefer to keep things to myself, which is why I decided to leave while I could.

I dashed for the stairway, leading up to the second level; that's when I heard the raspy chuckle of the bladed malady. Do you know what it's like? That sinking feeling when you drown? That's what I felt. I felt myself sinking into a pool of crimson below my feet. The more I struggled, the quicker it became like quicksand to me.

Maybe if I just close my eyes...

~x~

As I stood there, now blind, I would whisper softly: "Freddy, please... Let me go.."

Maybe it was the fact that he /couldn't/ let me go? Did I mean a lot to him? As I thought about this, I began to fall. It felt like forever; but soon, I had collapsed like a lifeless body across my bed. I had a reason for leaving. I had something to do, and that was to pay my mother a visit.

Oh, how I wanted her dead so badly.

As I scurried to my feet, I had felt the warm comfort of my glove cover my right hand.

That glove... It made me feel powerful. It felt like I had /EVERYTHING/. You would feel it, too...

And with that, I had crept out from the confinements of the bedroom door; however, the hallway lights had been on. Maybe mother had forgotten them again.

I wasn't fast, nor was I slow! Every murderer knows: silent but deadly. Her room was right across from mine, but the way I had felt my heart pounding within my chest made it seem like a walk through a never-ending tunnel. I slipped into my mother's room; alas, her door was cracked open and she was awake in the darkened bedroom. She looked just as beautiful as ever... Her skin and eyes, they glistened within the rays of the moonlight through the window. But, that didn't stop me.

"F-Falon...? Is there something wrong?" She had asked me.

I had simply shaken my head before revealing the key to her fate. I drew closer... And closer...

She had been scared and I could tell.

"Falon, please! Don't do this," Chelsea had said with a cracked tone and tears swollen upwards along the rim of her eyes. My, how I loved the sweet sound of screams already. Freddy would've been proud.

Before long, I had pushed the very tips of my steel blades into her pretty eyes, giving a gentle swirl before pulling the eyes outward. Ha, she looked like Eyeless Jack for a moment...

She was still alive, crying if she was able to. As I moved downwards with my blades, I came to rest right above her breasts. I had licked my lips for, I had a craving for blood. Steadily, I had felt the blades seep into the soft skin within her clothing, I would begin to move downwards--practically sawing her while the last few breaths she had... slipped away.

It only took moments for me to reach my mother's stomach. I retracted the blades as I watched the four, wide and deep cuts within the skin fall open. Do you know the saying 'beauty is on the inside, not outside', or, 'don't judge a book by its cover'? Well, whoever had said that--was right. The body was beautiful.

The soft, pulsating organs arose from the skin from being held back for so long. I could feel myself becoming relieved again.

It was over.

For now.

I had licked the blood from my blades, right as Freddy had appeared before me. I guess I had fallen asleep after seeing my mother; I was dreaming again.
