Soo Yeon's PoV
I went to the small park near the carnival. He told me that he would be here any second. I sat down by a bence near a large tree beside the fountain. I closed my eyes. I felt a hand covering my eyes.
"Guess, who am I?" a guy said stoping himself to laugh. I smiled gently.
"I know it's you Kyle... you forgot that I'm a wolf..." I said teasingly. He uncovered my eyes and sat beside me. I hugged him as tight as I could.
"I miss you... Crescent!" he said.
"I miss you more... It's been 3 yrs since I left you... But, as I promised we will never forget each other..." I said. He broke the hug.
"Why on earth will I call you my best friend if I know that you will forget me or leave me, right?" he said and smiled. Ugghhh.... I miss his smiles.
"Don't you remember our saying, True friends are never apart, maybe in distance but not in heart..." I reminded him.
"Anywayz, do you wanna go somewhere?" he asked.
"I don't know! I'm a bit hungry... let's grab some bite... " I said.
We stood up and went to the carnival. It was actually awesome but a bit noisy. We came along a hot dog stand and we ordered our choice of food. We sat by the bench near the stand. After talking alot and finishing our snack we decided to explore the carnival.
"Is it your first time to go to a carnival?" he asked.
"Well, yeah... and I'm happy that I'm with my best friend to celebrate this day..." I said.
"You wanna play?" he asked with his mischievous smile. I just nodded.
Without any warning he grabbed my wrist and pulled me to a stand. It's actually a game where you should throw the ball and it should enter the net. For short, it's basketball.
"This ball is for my most beautiful best friend..." he shouted and threw it and it scored. He continued to throw the balls and he won a huge teddy bear.
"Crescent..." he said. I looked at him with a 'wut?' look. He gave the bear to me and gave me a breath-taking smile.
"Here is a simple memento of this day..." he said.
"Thanks, Kyle! Your'e the best of the bests..." I said.
The sun was actually setting down and I still need to drive home and eat dinner there. I'm not a promise breaker though.
"Thanks for the day Kyle! but I should really go now, Xiumin-oppa will find me and I promised him that I will eat dinner there..." I said.
"It's fine! Anyways I'll just see you in school... okay?" he said. I nodded. I was about to leave when...
"I forgot something..." he said. I turned around and he suddenly kissed me at the cheek. Whut?!
"Just a good night kiss for you, Crescent!" he said and he went away.
I went to the parking lot and got my car. I drove away home and parked it at the garage. I took the bear and went inside. The first thing I saw was Baek looking at me blankly... *creepy*
I entered the kitchen and saw them eating. I placed the bear on the sofa and joined them. I was still hungry... hehehe....
"Hey! Who's teddy bear is this?" Chen asked holding the teddy bear.
"Hey! Chen-oppa! That's mine and will you please don't touch it..." I said pleasingly.
"Let me guess the Kyle-guy gave this to you..." Lay said who came out of nowhere. I just nodded.
"Did you go out on a date?" Hyun Jin asked.
"No... we just hung out at the carnival..." I said.
After dinner, I helped D.O. oppa in cleaning the dishes and I was about to go to the terrace when I saw Baek...
"Hey Baek! What are you doin' here?" I asked but he didn't respond.
"I don't trust that guy..." he said. What is he talking about?
"You don't trust anybody, not even me..." I said honestly but not aware of his feelings.
"I just want you to stay away from him..." he said seriously.
"And why should I do that?" I shouted.
"Because I can feel that soon he'll hurt you!" Baek shouted back at me.
"He will never do that! He's my best friend..." I defended.
"Just go away from him, okay!?" he demanded.
"Why do you even care!?" I shouted back and I was actually glaring at him...
"Because I'm worried that one day you'll cry because of him, you'll get hurt because of him and the only reason that I kept on teasing you is that because... I - I love you... I don't know why, when or how... I just felt it..." he said and he sat down the bench.
I - I was surprised that the fact that he - he lo - loves me all those time... I mean, I like him, too but what if he knew that I'm a wolf. That I'm 100 % different from him. I'm afraid that he'll be scared, he'll ignore me for the rest of my life and I don't want that to happen.
I sat down beside him and looked at him. He was actually a bit crying. I hate it when I accidentally hurt someone's feelings. It makes me wanna cry. I sat near him and gave him a hug. I burried my face on his back.
"Please don't cry... I didn't mean to - to hurt you..." I said.
"If you really like me or love me, you should trust me more and I want to know that whatever happens you'll love me forever..." I said gently.
He looked at me. His eyes were sore, it was red and tears continue to flow. He nodded.
"I want to know that whatever I really am, you'll continue to love me..." I said.
He nodded and I gave him a hug. I went to my room and slept.
