**Jimin's POV**
As the day draws to a close, the sun sinks lower in the sky, casting a warm golden hue over the path that winds between the water's edge. A gentle breeze rustles through the trees, their leaves whispering as the waves rhythmically crashing against the sand, creating a soothing melody that echoes in the stillness.
Beside me stands a man, his gaze fixed on the horizon where the sky meets the sea. "Finally, you've found the one," he says, his voice a mixture of curiosity and concern. "So, what have you decided to do now?"
I take a deep breath, feeling the weight of his question settle in my chest. "I do what I am supposed to," I reply, my tone resolute yet tinged with uncertainty.
He narrows his eyes, studying me. "You're going to approach him? But how can you be sure that it's him? After all these decades of waiting and searching, he suddenly appears. What if he's not the one? What if this is all just a mistake?" His brow furrows, displaying the concern evident in his voice.
I swallow hard, aware of the validity of his words but feeling the desperation clawing at my heart. "You might be right, but I have no other choice here! It's either him or no one else at all. I've waited too long—a lifetime—just for this moment—a chance to return, tighten the wrongs, and return to Jungkook. I need to go back to him; otherwise, everything I've endured will mean nothing, and I will have no purpose left to fulfill," I exhale deeply, the sheer gravity of my emotions weighing heavily on me as painful memories resurface.
He nods, understanding the depths of my turmoil. "I know your pain, but you need to be careful. If he truly is the key to ending this, you must do what you feel is right. But remember, it's dangerous—not just for him, but for you. You have one chance at this. If you fail, it will all be for nothing, and you will all be trapped in a place you can never escape." His words hang in the air, a sad reminder of the stakes.
As the sun continues its descent, shadows lengthen, and his body begins to shimmer, gradually fading away. His hands rise from my grasp and dissolve into the air, while his face becomes obscured by a white mask, a haunting visage that remains etched in my memory.
"I will return, my friend, but be cautious in your actions," he warns, his tone shifting to one of seriousness. "I can protect him for a little while, but it's your responsibility to keep him safe. Don't let me down. Don't be late this time... I might be unable to prevent what's meant to happen again."
"Just take care of him," I plead, desperation creeping into my voice. "I won't make him wait for long. I promise I'll come back to him... forever."
"Don't you ever miss him, Yoongi-hyung?" I ask, noticing the frown that crosses his features. He nods slightly, the weight of regret visible in his eyes.
"Sometimes it's better to let go than to hold on too tightly," he replies, the wisdom in his words settling like a stone in my heart before he fades entirely into the fabric of time.
Turning my gaze back toward the ocean, I search for the flickering stars beginning to twinkle in the darkening sky. I close my eyes, and his voice fills my mind, a gentle whisper that lingers like a warm breeze. "If we ever find ourselves separated, just look up at the stars, and you'll find me beside you."
You truly did become a star in the end... and I am the reason.
"But I promise you, we'll be together again soon... please, just wait a little longer for me." Tears begin to fall, tiny droplets cascading down to the ocean floor as I close my eyes and let the water envelop me. The weight of the liquid surrounds me, quieting my racing thoughts, while the image of him fills my mind—a vivid reminder of what I am fighting for.**Taehyung's POV**
"You're going to do what?" Taehyung's voice wavered as he stood surrounded by his friends, an air of tension crackling between them. He could feel their eyes boring into him, a mix of confusion and concern etched on their faces.
"I want to go away," he confessed, his heart racing. "I can't take this anymore—"
Before he could finish, Jihoon interrupted sharply, his tone rising in disbelief. "Don't talk like that! Where would you even go? There is no world for you out there. You belong with us here because you save us! You have to stay!"
