"So what's going to happen now?" I sighed, casting a weary glance at Yoongi Hyung, who was staring back at me with concern etched across his face. It had been several long months since I last saw Taehyung, and the weight of unresolved feelings hung heavy in the air between us.

"I don't know," I whispered, my gaze drifting toward the bright, shimmering moon that hung in the night sky, its light casting an ethereal glow over everything.

"Jungkook has been gone for a long time, and now you're reunited with your mate, so why don't you just—" He was cut off by my intense frustration.

"No! I cannot do that to Jungkook. He is my love, the one who was meant for me. I can't simply forget him and move on with someone else just because he is my 'mate,'" I exclaimed, my voice rising in anger as I turned to face him. The fire in my heart was fueled by the memory of Jungkook, and it felt unjust to replace him so easily.

"But he is dead!" Yoongi raised his voice, a hint of desperation in his tone. "And it's my fault! I was supposed to protect him, but I failed. Because of my shortcomings, he is gone. I can't forget that I am to blame for what has happened to him." My voice cracked under the strain of my emotions, but I fought back the tears, unwilling to succumb to the sorrow that threatened to overtake me.

"But how long are you going to resist your mate?" Yoongi pressed on, his words piercing through the layers of my turmoil. "I know, just as much as you do, that you want Taehyung, and it shows. You went to bring him to Ji-Yong, hoping it would lead you back to Jungkook, but you backed out. Why do you think that is? You even went as far as to harm Taehyung by sending Ji-Yong's brothers after him, yet you protected him instead. Why? Because he is your mate. There's a part of you that longs for him; you just have to listen to it."

I hung my head low, absorbing the weight of his words. It was true; I felt the guilt gnawing at my conscience for failing to accomplish what I had set out to do. I had sought out Taehyung with the intention of bringing him to Ji-Yong, who I believed could return Jungkook to me. However, the moment I laid eyes on Taehyung, everything shifted. His presence captivated me; the alluring scent that surrounded him was intoxicating. I couldn't tear my gaze away from him, from his long, flowing hair that danced with the breeze, his big, frightened eyes shimmering with unshed tears and his trembling, luscious lips that beckoned for a touch.

When he came closer, his warm hands reaching out to me, it felt as though my very soul responded with a howl of yearning, an instinctual desire to be near him. In that moment of clarity, I realized he was my mate, and I wanted him desperately. But the shadow of my remorse for Jungkook loomed large, a constant reminder that I could never truly embrace this new connection. I was trapped in a cruel dilemma—torn between a love that was lost and the undeniable pull of a new destiny.

"Jimin," we instinctively turn towards the door as Namjoon Hyung and Jin Hyung stride in, a palpable tension accompanying their entrance. My heart drops as Namjoon speaks, "Taehyung is gone."

Confusion and concern hit me like a tidal wave. "What do you mean he is gone? Where? What happened?" I begin to pace, my footsteps echoing in the otherwise quiet room. The worry gnawing at me fuels a rising anger. "What happened? You were supposed to be watching after him!" My voice rises, betraying the fear I can't suppress. The thought of something terrible having happened to Taehyung is almost unbearable.

Namjoon takes a deep breath, the weight of his words heavy in the air. "Taehyung has returned to his kingdom, Silla," he announces, and his tone is grave.

"Silla?" I echo, feeling a chill run down my spine. "But my father claimed that land long ago. Why would he go there? As far as I know, that place is nothing but a graveyard left from the ashes of conflict." My mind races, trying to piece together the implications of his departure.
