Authors Note: For those of you who are not as obsessed with comic book lore & movies as I am... I thought I would explain a few things: First this chapter will be featuring the Symbiotes. The symbiotes come from the planet Klyntar and the most famous Symbiote in comic book history is Venom, the black Parasite that ends up on Earth and bonds with Spiderman and also with Eddie Brock in the movie Venom. If you haven't seen the movie, don't fret as Venom does not appear in this story. However Klyntar is the home of hundreds of creatures/parasites exactly like venom and they are explained in this chapter. Happy Reading, feel free to comment!

Kamilla:

I toss my book aside and cast a transportation spell to put my armor on as soon as I hear Sif's voice over the intercom. Then I will my armor to take the shape of a form-fitting black leather dress that hugs my slim curves. I add a long slit that reveals my thighs on both sides, so that my movement isn't so restricted that I can't run if need be. I leave the silver armor visible on my arms and will a large chain-mail belt to swing around my hips that I tuck my favorite dagger into. Then I summon both of my magic made swords. If we're going to face Sif, then I want to do my best to look every bit the Asgardian warrior that I know she is. I glance at myself in the mirror, admiring how fierce I look as I magically smooth my wild curls into several braids. My armor not only looks badass, but I can move freely and quickly now that its not so heavy. My heart swirls in my chest as I remember how Loki enchanted it for me, but I force myself to push the happy thoughts away.

I rush to the front of the ship and immediately my eyes are drawn to the dark red planet looming directly in front of us.

"Prepare for the worst, we're about to land. And I don't expect Sif is happy to see me." Loki announces matter-of-factly as he steers us into the red planet's murky atmosphere. Quickly I slide into my seat and gaze out the window as he navigates us through the thick atmosphere; all I can see is red smoke obscuring the landscape. As we descend the air clears and fades into an orange tint, and I realize that we're flying through a dark forest. The dense forest is unlike anything I've ever seen before; it's full of ginormous, misshapen black trees and creepy looking plants that all seem to be alive. I stare transfixed out the window as I watch a large plant the size of a house, with leaves that resemble teeth snapping ferociously. As we continue to soar, a crooked tree with branches that resemble snakes, suddenly lurches forward and tries to pluck us from the air. But Loki punches the accelerator and we speed away just in time.

"This forest is alive!" I exclaim in alarm as another tree bends and snaps its branches, clawing after our ship.

"Don't worry, according to the coordinates Sif gave me, there should be a landing pad just up ahead."

I swallow anxiously, as I watch a black tendril, snake its way up a tree towards us. "Or she purposely sent us out here, so we'd get trapped in this god-forsaken-never-ending-forest!"
