Rina POV
"Congratulations! You've passed!" Arrow exclaims as I leave the simulation.
"Full marks!" Aras says to me. "You didn't lose any health." Two months, one week, four days, and ten hours. That's how long it had taken me to pass that fucking test. I better have gotten full marks.
"Thanks you guys," I say. Felix, one of my best friends walks out of the simulator and frowns at me. "What is it?" I ask. "Don't tell me you didn't pass."
"No, I did," he says dejected. "But I lost the bet with Beth! She bet that she would score higher than me on the test! Guess what! I was only off by five points!" The simulation tests give you points for completion, health, execution, adaptation, time, and shooting. Or CHEATS for short. The system was on a one hundred point base for each category. Which makes it so the highest score is six hundred. A passing grade has to be five hundred forty points or higher.
Beth walks out of her simulation and gives Aras a fist bump and nods at Arrow before walking over to Felix and I.
"I see I beat you Felix. Do you know what that means?"
"Yeah yeah, drinks are on me," he grumbles.
"Hell yeah, we're getting trashed tonight!" Aras yells walking over. "The whole gang is coming." The whole gang consists of; Felix, Beth, Aras, Karla, Jenny, Sub, Alex, Denis, Corl, Elijah, and myself of course. All though we weren't at the same skill levels, we did go through similar trainings together, and have done quite a few missions. Jenny and Aras are most definitely the strongest. With Aras set to become the next leader of the Golden Age, and with Jenny's control of the silver squad (a special assassin group); it can be hard sometimes. I always compare myself to them. However, that only means I too, have to become the best.
"Which bar do y'all wanna go to?" I ask. Beth and Aras both get huge grins.
"Don't you mean what club?" Beth asks.
"How did you get Jenny to agree to go? and Corl just got out of the hospital." I say, eyebrows raised.
"Oh, Jenny doesn't know this isn't a mission, and Corl says he wants to get out. Besides, he only got shot in the leg," Aras says. "Come on, let's get ready!"
I left with Beth and Aras, then met with Karla and Jenny. I was in the process of moving some stuff out of my apartment at the Golden Age. I was planning on having a room there and an apartment outside which I started renting a month ago, but I'd been so busy, I hadn't moved very much stuff. Beth, Jenny, Aras and Karla all got ready at my place. Before meeting with the other boys at the parking garage.
