Toms POV

I looked down at Jake who was currently fast asleep on the floor and sighed. Just seconds ago his head was on my shoulder and then suddenly he fell forward. I tried to get him to get back on the bed but he just groaned and continued lying there until eventually he fell asleep. I now had to get him off the floor but I'm too weak to lift him so the only other option was to wake him up.

I knelt down and gently shook him until he slowly opened his eyes.

"What the fu-"

"You're okay Jakey, I just need you to stand up. Can you do that?"

Jake nodded lazily and used the bed to pull himself up. I grabbed his arm and led him over to his side of the bed because for some reason he still had his eyes closed.

"Are you gonna open your eyes Jake?"

"My eyes are closed?"

Either this is a very bad cold or he hit his head

"Yes Jakey. Now can you sit on the bed?"

He did as told and slowly sat down before quietly speaking.

"Call me Jakey more often. It's cute."
  
   I blushed and pretended I didn't hear him. I needed to give him some sort of  medicine or he'll just keep getting worse. I walked over to jake and told him I'd be right back. 
 
    I walked back to my room and rummaged through my bag until I found what I was looking for. Cough syrup. I had brought it at the airport because I couldn't stop sneezing on the plane and thought I was getting sick.

   I walked back into Jakes room to see him sitting up in bed and struggling to stay awake. I went over and sat on the edge of the bed. When Jake noticed I was there his head shot up and he smiled lazily.

   "I got medicine for you."

   All I got in response was a groan so I leant forward and gently pressed my hand to his forehead. It seemed to be a normal temperature so I just grabbed the medicine and  poured some onto a spoon.

  "Take this."

   Jake tried to grab the spoon but couldn't seem to gather the strength to lift his arm up. I sighed and grabbed his jaw gently, forcing him to face me. I slowly fed him the cough syrup and then gently rubbed circles on his cheek with my thumb while he drifted off to sleep. I know I probably shouldn't be doing this but he's so tired that he likely won't remember. I could tell he was a getting drowsy and was expecting him to fall asleep when he suddenly spoke, startling me.

  "I Love you Tom."

     He then fell asleep leaving me to panic and wonder what he meant and why he said it.
