Chiyo Sakura falls in love with Nozaki Umetaro after meeting with him at the high school ceremony entrance. She gathers her bravery and confesses her feeling. However, Nozaki's reply is... an autograph?!
After feeling familiar with his sign, Chiyo found out that Nozaki is a shoujo mangaka for the female reader under the name Sakiko Yumeno (but no one believes in him). The blind-loving Sakura becomes one of his assistants and hilarity ensues. They end up meeting various people by knowing each other. Sakura knows more about her crush and helps him with the absurd problem of creating a romance manga from making a new character to riding a bicycle (?).
