Synopsis:
Kohachi Inugami is a detective well-known in the occult field. He receives a commission to investigate a chain incident of mutilated and rotting livestock animals for an unknown reason. He arrives in the remote Japanese village and works for the hostess of the in. During observation, Inugami meets a working boy called"Dorotabou", who received his name from his stench. The young man is scorned by his peers and people around the village.
Inugami takes an interest in the boy ad asks him to help with his investigation. Dorotabou eventually discovers different creatures living among humans known as Kemono. This encounter will lead him into a different type of life with new companions and experiences.
