BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP
And so it begins..
I wake up at the ass crack of dawn so I can go for my morning run. One mile.. Two miles.. Three, Four.. Race up the stairs and into my condo and jump in the ice cold shower. Who ever thought HOT showers were a good idea, they are obviously sick in the head. I quickly wash my hair and body all with the same bar of green soap and dry off. Throwing on my grey Volcom sweat shirt, dark washed jeans and whatever shoes I find lying around the house while chugging an ice cold water. I have more shoes than most people have underwear. I take a quick peak in the mirror and run my hands through my hair. Alright, I am ready.
It's the beginning of my senior year and I'm already counting down the days until I get outta here. One hundred and seventy-nine days left to go in this shit-hole. Then I'm out.. On to my next adventure. Even though high school really hasn't been that bad to me, the girls all want me and the guys want to be me. I just wanna leave this good for nothing town. I can't make anything of myself here. Maybe I will start a band.. not that I know how to play an instrument.. but I could learn! Or maybe I will travel the world, I've always wanted to goto Europe. Who knows, though ? I am just taking life as it is thrown at me. Senior year is gonna be a hundred and seventy odd days of partying, sex and, rock and roll. Who is with me?
I roll up to school in my Chevy Camaro LT and park in the very back row, right next to my boy, Jackson. He has the same car as me but a few years older. He is the kind of guy that'd give you the shirt off his back if you needed it, but would pummel you if you wrecked it. Do you know what I mean? He's bigger than me. Where I am muscle in all the right places, he's muscle everywhere. Like a freakin' bull dog. Always ready to attack. I can fight... don't get me wrong, but he could break my left arm without blinking an eye. His childhood was not ideal and it made him tough. But that is not my story to tell.
"Are you ready for hell?" asked Jackson
"As ready as I'll ever be." I laughed
Just as we were about to start walking in a crappy old Volvo that quite literally may fall apart at any second comes zipping through the parking lot and stops in front of us. Blaring the horn, the small black haired girl shooting daggers at me with her eyes sticks her head out the window and screams
"TAKE A FUCKING PICTURE IT'LL LAST LONGER. MOVE OUT OF THE WAY, YOU MORONS! IM GOING TO BE LATE!"
Jackson and I side stepped and got out of her way before she ran us over."Who the fuck pissed in her Cheerios this morning?" I laughed
"Idk man, but tomorrow it's gonna be me. Who the hell does she think she is? Yelling at us like that?" He asked with a huff
"Must be a freshman that doesn't know any better, dude." I laughed
We start to head inside when this girl who just completely flipped her lid on us runs past us and hurries inside Hell itself.
Jackson and I are sitting in our usual Shop seats when Mr. Cathoway walks in, closing the door behind him and clearing his throat just as the bell rings. We still have the old ass steel bell you see in the old TV shows, that makes your ear drums ring.
"Good morning class, I assume you all brought your safety goggles and pencils today. You're not newbies so I don't expect to have to show you every single thing. We're gonna jump right into maki—."
He was cut off by a loud BANG of the shop door where the same girl from the parking lot stood quietly, looking at her feet while muttering "Hi, I think I have the right class, this is Wood Shop IIII right?"
Mr. Cathoway smiled as he introduced himself and said "Yes, this is in fact Wood Shop Four. You can sit over there next to Haiden and Jackson, they'll show you the ropes and help you out this semester."
"No need, thank you. I've been in wood working classes since freshman year." She plopped her tight ass down on the seat next to me.
A few moments pass and the entire class is silent. Every pair of eyes on the new chick. I clear my throat loudly and everyone looks away from our table.
"I guess I'll start with introductions. I'm Haiden." I said, flashing one of my panty dropping smiles.
"This bulldozer over here, is Jackson. Don't worry, he looks viscous but he's as gentle as the toilet paper you wipe your ass with." I laughed
Jackson smacked me of the back of the head with his Chem book sending a THUD through the room and earning a giggle from little miss.. we still don't know her name.
"You'll have to excuse Haiden, he doesn't know how to speak around pretty girls." He glared at me.
"So.. now that you know our names, what's yours?" I smiled
"It's Gabriella. But you can call me Gabby if you want." She responded.
She seemed so shy, talking with her head bowed. There wasn't even a sliver of the fiery girl we saw in the parking lot. I hope to see a glimpse of her again soon. That's the kinda girl I wanna bend over my desk.
Fuck why am I thinking like that.. I have a girlfriend.
Class couldn't have ended soon enough.. I sat through it half hard with a pissed off look on my face hoping she wouldn't talk to me. The more I ignore her the less likely it is for her to fall for me. But who am I kidding even without words, I'm fucking irresistible.
