*1 month later*
My birthday is in exactly 2 weeks and 2 days, January 21 but my party won't be until the 24th because my b-day's on a wednesday..uhh! We still have one week left of winter break and I'm so happy. Today Brit, Nic and I are going to some stores to get the decorations. I haven't talked to them since new years day because they keep bugging me about what happened with Tristan. I rather tell them in person, I'm just weird like that. I take a quick shower, hop out and head to get dressed. I slide on some stretch pants and my "weirdo" sweater since I'm coming right back in the house. I slip on my boots, put my hair in a nice bun and put on my studs. I grab my phone, bag, coat, hat and head downstairs. My momma is watching old western movies...boringgg!
"Hey ma, I'm about to leave" I say sitting next to her.
"Well my keys and wallet are in my bag" She said sleepily
"Well what are you gonna do today?"
"I'm relaxing on the couch, y'all be safe love you"
"Love you too" I walked over to her bag got her keys and she left me out $100 :). I put on my things and texted Nic and Britney on my way to the car. I drove to Nic's house first since she was the closest. About 3 minutes later I pull up to her house and she runs out immediately. Lol does she wait at the window. She hops in the car.
"Lol excited much?" I chuckle driving off.
"Yeah, you know I hate being in the house"
Nic turns up the radio and Jasmine V is on again! We sing along and dance to the song all the way to Britney's house.
"Text Britney for me" I say to Nic. Three minutes later Brit runs out and hops in the car. "Hey y'all" She screams. "HEY!!" We yell back.
"Now where are we going?" I ask
"We should go to Party City and Spencer's!" Nic yelled excitedly
"Why Spencer's?" I ask
"Yes Spencer's and because this is your first party, we're going all out like it's your 21st. And when your 21 we'll go out like it's your 19th!" Britney said snapping her fingers
"Lol okay". I hopped on the expressway and we drove for about 15 minutes before I got off and turned into the Party city parking lot. We got out and made it into the store. We grabbed cobalt blue balloons, a strobe light, blue and red light bulbs, and party hats. We walked to the counter "$39.94" The cashier smiled, this strobe light is expensive! We walked out the store and headed back to the car. We got in and drove off. The mall was just down the street so we got right back out. We walked into the mall and headed for Spencer's. I love Spencer's but I've never had a reason to buy anything in here.
"OO Bree look at this" Britney said picking up a button that said "It's my MOTHERFUCKING B-Day BITCH!"
"Ummm" I squinted
"Yeah you're getting it, live a little" Nic said heading towards the shot glasses. I got a big birthday cup and we bought a bunch of shot glasses. Britney picked out a bunch of crazy games Drinking Jenga, Spin the Bottle, Beer Bong, Trutn or Dare etc...
"Yasss I'm ready" Nic said skipping to the register.
"Me too, don't worry Bree I'll make sure you get turnt and still be comfortable" Britney said hugging me. I walked to the registerr and paid for our things it was $49.38. We walked out the store and headed to Auntie Annie's for some pretzels. "Since we're done with everything are you gonna tell us about NYE now?" Britney said rolling her neck. "When we sit down!" I smiled. We made it to the front, I ordered a Cinnamon pretzel, Brit ordered one with cheese, and Nic ordered one with maple mustard. We got our things and headed to a table, we sat down and got comfortable. I was enjoying my pretzel until I looked up and Nic and Brit were staring holes into me. "Damn can have a moment!" They said nothing and continued to stare.
"Huh fine" I huffed "You ready?"
"MHMM!" They shook their heads happily. Impatient asses.
"So, he came to pick me up at about 9:15pm, I had on a navy blue long sleeve dress with black stockings and black knee high boots. My hair was in a low, wavy, side ponytail and I had light, natural makeup. I got in the car, he greeted me as always and he drove off. For some reason we never talk in the car, we just listen to music. But anyway we drive for about 20 minutes and he pulls up to this little amusement park. We get out and we walk into the park, I didn't mind us being outside because y'all know I'm a winter baby and I love the snow! He took me to a little cafe kiosk, we both got tea. Then we got on this big pretty ferris wheel. I guess he knew the conducter because they shook hands and he let us on, we stepped in, sat down and talked....."
"So how are you liking the mini date so far" Tristan smirked wrapping his arm around me.
"I love it, I love that it's outside and the ferris wheel, it's nice!" I smiled back
"I'm happy you like it." He said looking out
"I'm happy you're happy." I whispered taking a sip of my tea.
"haha You don't have to be timid around me" He said looking in my eyes. Once we got to the top the ferris wheel stopped and Tristan stuck his hand out over the door. He took my hand into his and stared at me for a minute then spoke.
"Look Bree, I like you and I wanted to ask you if you would be my girlfriend?"..
"BITCH!" Britney yelled causing everyone around us to look. "Y'all together and you didn't tell us?!!!" Nic whispered. "You said yes right?!" They said in unison.
"anyways..." I said rolling ym eyes
"....I wanted to ask if you would be my girlfriend?" Tristan asked, he stared at me and I could feel his heart racing from his hand, mines was probably racing faster. I didn't know what to say, I like him, he likes me, what's the problem?!
"I was scared" I said looking down at my pretzel. "So I told him I would think about it, because I've never had a boyfriend I needed time to think, this is big for me and could change everything". Brit and Nic sat there staring blank faced. "He was okay with it he knows I'm not going anywhere, we stayed on the ferris wheel and continued to talk and laugh, everything was fine!"
"So fine ass Tristan was dangling a relationship in your face and you didn't take it?" I didn't say anything. Nic laughed biting into her pretzel. Britney was still staring at me, I knew what she was thinking and that was NOT IT AT ALL!! I needed time to figure this out, what a relationship with him would be like....I was right for not answering then..right? We finished our pretzels, grabbed our things and headed home.
