The youth is underestimated &
silenced
for a voice that they use,
They grow up in a society
where they're victims of different abuse,
And they can't choose.
They're neglected of music and many forms of art,
and empowered by hate..
how do you expect them to learn??
If we as adults can't even demonstrate
Or appreciate
We point
fingers as we place blame
On t
hose as we call out names,
In the blame game.
I think we forgot to accept change
So our minds try and rearrange
to what we find strange
Looking at a child like they are deranged
How much can the youth take
if they are consistently getting bullied,
As we literally turn the blind eye
while there in need
Crying out silently
as they reach out trying succeed
Peach..
How much can they encounter
when they're on there knees .
begging to be saved or just to please.
Hiding scars within their sleeves
