"It's so beautiful," I remark, admiring the beautiful scenery and architecture of the Brooklyn bridge.
"I know right. It was the first thing I visited when I came here to the university," Ryan says, smiling at the view.
"University?" I probe in.
"Yes, I was a student of New York University. So, that was when I first came to New York."
"You mean you actually knew the meaning of fun back then? Visiting places and all?" I tease him as we continue walking.
"Ha! Ha! Really funny. But yes, back then I was, you could say, more of an explorer."
"Explorer?" I ask, curiously.
"Yeah, but I guess things changed once I started to look after the business and all," he answers in a tired tone.
"What was your age when you took over the business?"
"Twenty one."
"That's early," I remark, genuinely surprised by his answer.
"What? You think I am an old man now?" he asks with a small smile.
"No, but you must be in your mid thirty's," I lie with a serious expression.
"W-What?" he asks, shock evident on his face.
I couldn't hold my laughter anymore, as I burst out in a fit of laughter.
"You... should have... seen your... face," I manage to say in between my laughing session.
"Very funny," he replies sarcastically with an annoyed face.
"And for the record I am twenty five," he adds, glaring at me.
I simply shake my head at his behaviour. In all honesty, he doesn't look a day over twenty one, but I will never admit that to his face.
"Ouch," I say as a person rushes past me, mumbling apologies.
"Watch where you are going," Ryan shouts at the person as he holds me from my elbows to stop me from falling.
"Are you alright?" he asks gently.
"Yeah," I murmur, looking back at his emerald green eyes.
"So, shall we continue?" he asks, letting my elbows go as he clears his throat.
"Yeah," I answer with a smile.
As I start to move forward, Ryan slowly holds my left hand, intertwining it with his own.
Seeing my questioning look, he clears his throat, before answering, "In case you might fall or get lost in the crowd."
"That's some faith you have in me," I meekly retort as we start walking hand in hand. In reality, I was anything but calm, I mean he was holding my hand. Yes, he had a reason, but is it weird to say I kind of, I don't know, forget it.
Ugh! What's wrong with me, I mentally scream at myself as we go on walking.
"You know many girls would kill to be in your position," Ryan remarks, smirking at me.

Humor"What do you mean we ran out of coffee?" I ask as my eyes nearly pop out of my socket. Don't judge me, it's coffee. "Seriously, it's just coffee," Ryan comments, sitting on the couch. "Are you kidding me? I have OCD, dude." "What? OCD?" Ryan asks, l...
