*Surprise!!*

Ryan's POV -

I look at the red hooded beauty, who continues to sleep on whilst cuddling with me. A small smile appears at my face as I reminisce today's events - the party, the garden, the Brooklyn Bridge and finally the rain.

Honestly speaking, I have never been a fan of rain. Since I was a teenager, it was always about meeting the expectations of my parents, handling everything on my own. I guess in all this, I forgot how it used to be to just enjoy life, to stop for a moment and feel the bliss of nature.

Earlier, rain was a mood souring factor for me, like what is so special about rain? Crumpled, wet clothes, water poodles everywhere, muddy floors.... Yeah, nothing special, especially when you are the CEO and everyone just expects you to be the epitome of perfectness.

Perfect! I mentally scoff at the word. This word and I have been on a war since ages. Everyone in this world wishes to be perfect.

I guess I am no exception to this norm. Though I do wonder why can't I be perfect? Why do I have so many flaws? Yes, hiding my flaws doesn't exactly erase them.

"Sir, we have arrived at the hotel," Walter, my driver's voice, breaks my thoughts as I sigh, blocking all negative thoughts.

I look at my Disney Freak, after contemplating about waking her for or not, I decide against waking her.

"Sir, do you wish me to help the young Miss?"

"No, Walter, we are good," I answer back with an angry edge in my voice.

I slowly picked her up in my arms bridal style as I carried her into the hotel.

For some reason, I don't like the thought of her in another man's arms. I guess, I am a good host in this sense... right?

It was for this reason that I had left her to sit at our designated table during the party. As it is many men, especially those perverted old guys, were literally eyeing her as she walked in. Yes, she looked really beautiful in that dress, but that doesn't mean those ***holes can stare at her. To avoid making her uncomfortable by their constant stares, I had opted for letting her stay there.

But God, if only I knew how wrong I was. The moment I left, some drunkard jerk came to her. Yes, I know about the incident, but I got to know about it too late, after she had handled it all on my own, which no doubt I am proud of. Though, I wished she didn't have to face it at all. Suffice to say, the bastard is not going to get any deals from my company.

Just as I stop in front of Disney Freak's room, the door opens up revealing my angry looking sister and her boyfriend, Jayden, who seems to be trying to calm her down. Alexia glares at me before she realizes I am carrying her best friend.

Glaringly, she steps aside to let us enter. I gently place the sleeping beauty on her bed as I prepare to meet the reincarnation of dragon.

"So, how are you doing sister?" I ask casually as I make myself comfortable on the couch.

"Don't go around quoting Joey, Ryan! You have a lot of explaining to do mister!" Alexia shouts at me.

Hello people! I am the elder sibling!

"Where have you two been? You ditched us! No calls, just a mere text stating you are leaving. Like seriously, brother?"

"Yes, seriously Alexia. We left the party early because Jazz was bored and she wanted to do some ...exploration."

"Exploration? What were you two doing? Finding Atlantis?" my sister remarks, sarcastically.

"Actually we were walking around Brooklyn Bridge," I answer her question, ignoring the sarcasm.
